Hi Bitey, Crybaby Christina here! Thank you so much for taking the time to give me some detailed feedback! I appreciate it so much and those are definitely things I can work on. I’m sorry the build misbehaved so badly!

Hey there, thanks for checking out Celestial Rescuers 2: Zero Mission. And yeah, we agree that the HPS1 demo was a bit barebones, we had to cut half of our mission types, the entire tutorial and some overarching story bits to polish what we already have and submit in time! Later this year, we will release a demo on our steam page that will hopefully give more of an idea what we've been working on.

Absolutely lovely video Bitey! While not able to make it past round one, every one of these demos have solid potential to be amazing, and I'm so happy to see you give them a spotlight!

This community is brilliant. I really appreciate seeing these glimpses into what kinds of things these developers come up with and it's great to see you hard at work!

Thank you for checking out Mango 64 and giving feedback! I also think it's really cool you checked out my devlogs. I will work on the problems you pointed out. I will fix the jumping bug and will make it less percise, I didn't mean to make it so difficult. I have also been adding a lot of original things to be more unique and less like toree. It's really nice to get your feedback!

I did some of the animation for Volutas, specifically with the shark. It's a real shame Grimnir couldn't implement them in time because we had a lot of fun collaborating on that. Good job to all who did and did not make it in!

It is a shame. Curators held off till the last second on word there would be a major update, but alas, wasn't meant to be. Look forward to seeing it pop up again later when it's ready so I can see that shark wiggle!

Thanks for checking out Huntsmen! The demo you played was going to be finished with proper explanations, health, reset / pause mechanics etc if it passed round one so that's why a lot of it might have seemed too esoteric. BTW the cutscenes could be exited via escape, but no skip, so you could keep exploring or movie around. Anyway thanks for playing, and great video!

Now I feel silly for not trying the ESC key, but that'll be good knowledge to have when your game crosses my path again in the future with those updates, and I try digging out more of the gold you've hidden in there.

@@vladimerelhore Nah it's my bad, there was a lot of fundamental stuff missing which made it a harder play than it needed to be. Great video BTW, wild seeing what didn't make it. Some I thought would have definitely gone through.

Some of these games that got rejected dont even seem to have horror elements. Which I assume is the whole point of these discs.

Hi! For this Demo Disc, we wanted to branch out to non-horror PSX indie games as well. The Demo Discs were never meant to be strictly horror, but we were much more explicit and wanted to experiment and expand our scope. Don't worry, there are plenty of horror games that have moved onto round two as well!

The conceit of this year's disc is that it's split between Dreams and Nightmares. Hence why the promotional art is a Skully and Chibi Skully(Boney) fighting over a disc. While Haunted PS1 started as a way for indie horror devs using retro aesthetics to commune, the community has greatly expanded over the years, and we don't want to exclude their creativity over something as trivial as genre. So this disc we're explicitly stating that there is a place for non horror in our Haunted community.
