Sooo excited for orders to open up for the Point and Click and CRPG books next week! Definitely want to get the Beat Em Up book too. Bitmap is pretty great and their packaging for the shipped books is top-notch.

Love all the bitmap books, I've got em all, the neo geo and metal slug ones are particularly nice, plus the kof limited edition is great too!

Great video as always. I see they also have a book out titled "I’M TOO YOUNG TO DIE: THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO FIRST-PERSON SHOOTERS 1992-2002" - this looks really interesting and would be great to have a look at.

Im surprised that Wizardry , is in the Japanese RPG book? Wiki: Wizardry began as a simple dungeon crawl by Andrew C. Greenberg and Robert Woodhead. It was written when they were students at Cornell University and published by Sir-Tech. The game was influenced by earlier games from the PLATO system, most notably Oubliette.[4] The earliest installments of Wizardry were very successful, as they were the first graphically-rich incarnations of Dungeons & Dragons-type gameplay for home computers. The release of the first version coincided with the first wave of Dungeons & Dragons' popularity in North America.

Not really , the series was more popular in Japan than anywhere else in the world ... There are dozens of Wizardry Japan only releases that never came out anywhere else so it makes sense

I had no idea, the series and brandname was quite popular in early C64. A good name like wizardry can go a long way.

I use them a lot as they are great references for videos if im doing a game that maybe in one of the books
