I heard somewhere on KZbin that the writers of the 64 version of Robocop didn’t finish the code for level 3 before it was released so they made the time limit for level 2 impossible to beat. I assume they finished it properly soon after but the first copies sold were incomplete.

Yeah one of the later lvls is completely corrupted in gfx form on the c64 in all versions . A c64 cracking team a few years ago fixed everything and released a full working version of it .
