My friend did end up in BITS pilani mechanical (280 marks) after the JEE mains cutt off inflate (182 in mains and 121 in adv marks)... BITSAT really is an un biased exam..

250 is a decent score, but yea due to the more competiton this year it only opens doors to lower branches, but congratulations on you JEE rank, well done!

the cutoff for bits are just jumping every year, 150 score is safe for Pharma but for science and engineering 235+ was needed in 2024 and CSE was at 330+. Also the loans are pretty easy to get for BITS, not to mention there are many scholarships available for good performance(cgpa basis). But remember that the peer group is pretty smart and relative grading makes another tough competition on its own.

The time limit is what makes it harder than mains , you got 5 subjects too in the same 3 hrs time ,but anyway if you find it easier you're a genius person who actually has good grasp over concepts
