That was an interesting event. 4th place is not bad!!! Last Monday was a sweet day on Poinsett. Only 6 boats on the water. No tournament. Just went because it was the first fog in quite some time & proved to be awesome. Bait was schooling around different spots. I caught 90% of my fish at the fishing Pier area from boat. Sapphire Senko wacky rigged & a 90mm Berkeley Choppo in Maverick color. They wanted the Choppo more in the morning but Wacky was the ticket later

It's a different lake now. Most of the lake has a weedy grassy issue. That happens sometimes when the water doesn't fill up on a steady basis so the vegetation takes over. Crankin isn't easy. But.....the top water is better than before. Once it starts to stable off, it's gonna be really good. I have fun with it. Fall is going to be a blast!!!! There's good size fish still in there. More than I expected to see. The snakes are still there as well. Saw a couple just laying in the sun. But I expect to see them there.

@Cole & Jay Cole I don’t know how you do it to just shrug off being bitten by the snakes. Almost 2 weeks ago I was bitten by a copperhead on the foot, hospital said I was lucky it was a dry bite. The swelling and pain was intense and I’m usually the guy who can shrug off the pain and keep going but I missed a whole week not being able to walk. Still have swelling but I’m up and working. I know y’all love herpping but for all the younguns at least give them a warning to be extra cautious. I’m 56 a hunter and a fisherman and have prepared myself for just such an occasion but this happened at the foot of my steps and the preparedness paid off. I stayed calm got to the hospital as quickly as I could. I know the predominant viper species in the area I live and how to recognize in an instant.

yes we fish late an stay over night on pontoon barge best spot we have found is where the rock dyke joins the lock wall river side we ended up with 9 big blues 2 flathead's biggest blue 27 lbs. with flathead only 16 lbs. using shad head's an hole shads 6 to 10 inch shad.

Hello 👋 Cole I was a circuit bracket drag racer with a small independent team. The super comp bracket is a 9 second bracket, the closest to the 1/4 mile in 9 seconds wins. This bracket is decided by less than one ten thousandth of a second. I guess my point is I understand when a single inch takes you out of the money. How can you prove what you caught

You take pics of your catch and submit them to the tourney x app. When you take the pic it captures your location data and time to make sure it's during tournament hours in the right body of water and then the tournament director verifies that you measured your fish correctly with the tournament identifier present. 👍

Yeah, all of our native snakes are protected. You're not supposed to kill them unless they are directly threatening you. We usually just relocate venomous snakes that come up into our yard

@@COLE_and_JAY cole i enjoy watching all your videos, but i truly enjoy the tourny's you fish in, to me you became side tracked when you went to deep into that back channel , the further you went, the tourny kind of didn't matter any more, but to me i was watching you in the tourny, then the snakes turn up and you linger with it wasting fishing time, when you finally went out to rhat riprap i thought you still had a chance to at least place in the top 3, then along came those flatheads, in stead of unhooking and back to throwing baits, you played tot long with the catfish, you then became lethargic3e and just didn't keep yoour head in the game, i thought for sure you would place ywhen you hit that riprap, i'm sorry for this long ass letter, but i wanted you to win that dam tournament, so i guess i'm the cry baby, you know watching you fish all these videos, its like i truly know you and hang out , but thats awlll an illusion, but i enjoy your stuff so i keep on watching,
