The book scratching was amazing here. Especially the Necronomicon book. Please make book scratching and soft tapping a regular series. Not many asmrtists do this anymore and it's my favorite trigger.

Hi Bitty. Love your videos and listened to your concerns regarding your hair breakage. I’m a licensed cosmetologist here in the state of LA. I typically suggest a shampoo/conditioner combo that has ‘repair’ or ‘damage’ for my clients suffering with breakage. That’s usually because the breakage has been caused by chemicals or heat (hot tools). Do you color your hair? Do you use heat (flat or curling irons)? If so, a repair remedy type of shampoo and conditioner is a great place to start. Something that helps repair the broken hair bonds and adds protein. Also, maybe throw in a nice deep conditioner or hair mask treatment. My personal favorite brands (not just professional but from personal experience) is olaplex, Moroccan oil and amika. Sometimes breakage can also be caused by medications, stress and hormone shifts. Hopefully this helps some.

i box dye my hair every few months, but i very rarely use heat. (ever since i switched to a nicer shampoo i’ve stopped flat ironing bc there’s less frizz) thank you so much this is really helpful!! if im still experiencing breakage and hair loss by the end of my current shampoo bottle i will look into this. do you have any opinions on dove breakage remedy? probably too good to be true since it’s so cheap, haha. 😊

@@BittyASMR You are very welcome. Honestly, I think trying the dove brand would be ok if you want. Buying salon brands can be costly, but try to look at it as an investment. Main advice would be to check the ingredients. Drugstore brands usually contain more sulfates and fillers whereas salon brands typically has less (or none at all) sulfates and more vitamins/oils. The Dove brand has been linked to contain Phthalates which include coal tar. 😬 I do know that Aveeno has a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. Some of my clients rolling on strict budgets have tried it and enjoyed it. Good luck to you!! 🤗
@BittyASMR2 жыл бұрын
i’m willing to pay a little more for the better brands at this point, i just wanted to ask about the dove product because the commercials were fresh in my mind. 😁 i think overall i’m gonna try to steer clear of the drug store brands from now on. and i’ll maybe consider getting better hair dye. 😂 thank you!!!

@@BittyASMR chipping in, marshalls and tj maxx sell Amika, it's still a bit more than drugstore but cheaper than ulta/salon prices. I discovered their nice cream cleansing conditioner... And it's discontinued 😭 But I do see the regular shampoo & conditioner there, and that's not discontinued

@@BittyASMR as someone with very curly, dry, frizzy hair, I use Shea Moisture, if you have a Sam's Club you can get their coconut oil shampoo and conditioner in bulk to save money. That one is geared toward all hair types and is color safe. It contains none of the harsh ingredients that she has mentioned. I'll say that my husband with wavy, greasy hair has tried it while we were out of his favorite shampoo and it worked really well for him so I think it really is good for all hair types.

The best shampoos/conditioners to get for your hair are clean products that don’t have the harsh chemicals that cause the breakage and build up. They don’t have to be 100% clean but as clean as possible. Download the app “think dirty”, it will give you ratings of toxicity.
