The truth is Maruti Suzuki is actually working on population control bill very seriously and with complete conviction. Actually these severe accidents with splendor and other motorcycles were very proudly celebrated in the company as their achievements. Their next challenges are Hero and atlas cycles. 🙏

Going by their weight reduction strategy, it seems like Maruti will be the first one to create flying cars. The car would be so lightweight, it would float on air on its own instead of using any fans, rotors, jets or aerodynamics to generate a lift.

I have a Tata Altroz. Yes, the car feels a tad bit underpowered, but I am okay with the compromise, because the car is safe. I have seen some of the accidents with Altroz and how the passengers have very less injuries. At the end of the day, safety of my family members is more important that performance for me.

Brother, I saw one video online where a Swift (latest generation) collided head on with an Altroz.... The Swift front was crushed severely & the person driving the car was severely injured. Whereas in the Altroz, a young girl was in the front seat with a man (probably her father). Nothing happened to them or the car...Just some scratches & the front lights were damaged. So I would congratulate you on your intelligent purchase....

One more reason for the large sales of Maruti Cars is also the fact that parts availability and service centres are everywhere throughout the country, even in rural areas. While many others brands lack this. People thus refrain from buying such cars as if in case of some problem in car they had to take it to other city for servicing. And also many local mechanics hesitate to touch other car brands as they don't have experience with such vehicles and they may end up increasing the problem

Maruti800 if I'm not wrong came in early 80s 40,000 back then was way too costly. Let's sit it time machine and go back. 2022: inflation rate @6% Maruti800 launch: 1985 (approx) 1985 to 2022 = 37 years 37yrs × 6 (inflation rate) 37 x 6 = 222....Let's take round figure so I will reduce 22 and assume 200. Now let's multiply 200x40,000 = 8,00,000 So, in 2022 it's 8lakhs which is still not affordable for a middle class family. So, the cost back in 1985 = 40,000 is not affordable for middle class family.

Had there been equality in terms of matching price and the salary given, we would have had everyone at equal place only if political greed was not present. This is a circle, going round & round with same story since 1947 India will remain like this 1000s of years unless the mindset changes, especially politics, industrial exploitation, employee exploitation, uneven malpractices, religion political battles etc etc. So, moral of the story: Be happy with what we have and thank God. Few reasons indian love maruti suzuki cars are: Mature car enthusiasts like 4 cylinder naturally aspirated engine car which is more reliable and easy to maintain & service. car buyers who r purchasing their first car expect two wheeler like avg from their car and hence maruti delivers tht. Now one more factor is that maruti cars have cheap maintenance and r very practical cars in terms of space management so it's first choice for cabs, taxi, rental cars, commercial market etc.

very good video.. Maruti is driven by the profitability theory.. they need to be profitable whether their customers survive a crash or not.. they are so aligned with profitability that when it came to bs6, they decided to discontinue diesels over spending money to make it compliant despite being the top selling brand in the country.. I have never bought/used a Maruti and will never.. those who value money over their and their families' safety and those who do not feel anything getting short changed can please go ahead!

I have owned a 1996 Maruti 800, Estillo new model and now Dzire 2017 I can say Maruti 800 1996 body was much stronger than my current Dzire. I am the proud owner of the top variant of the Nissan Magnite and yes the engine could be slightly more powerful but for me practicality of the car is immense. It's spacious, comfortable and efficient. I don't mind compromising on fit and finish or power but safety is one thing I won't compromise on. I was involved in a major accident in my Magnite where it rolled off the road sideways twice before coming to a stop. I wore a seat belt and there wasn't even a scratch on me by God's grace. The car's shell was practically intact except for dents in many places. But I'm telling you that on that day the 4 star safety rating is what kept me alive. Had it been almost any Maruti Suzuki car, maybe with the exception of the brezza, I am 100% sure that I wouldn't have survived to tell the tale as the roof and my upper body would have been squished.

This is only possible for the Cheap mindset of Indians who prioritize few rupees over their own life. Cars are reflection of the owner's mindset, US has bulky trucks and muscles, Japan has efficient and utility focused tuners, Europe has overall great pieces of engineering, such as Merc, BMW, Audi etc. And India has Tin ka Dabba Maruti. I know most Ford cars don't have super stylish bright lights, interiors or wonderful infotainment system, but hey cars are to be driven on roads for your daily commute if you want entertainment then you can get that wonderfully at your home on TVs and music devices. It's very bad that they are discontinued now, but if you once become a Ford owner you will never wanna leave it.

For city drive these are the best buys. For highways one should always have a safe and larger car. this change has started. Government should implement stricter safety norms. High time car owners should not overload the car, 8 people in 4 seater is also a big safety issue.

Every single manufacturer will be more than happy to make a safe car if the existing idiotic taxation structure is changed. The govt charges 29% GST + CESS on 1.2L engines. This kind of taxation is ridiculous and impossible for car manufacturers to run a sustainable business in market where price factor plays an important role. THe bulk of money is being eaten by the govt in terms of taxes. The state govt charges a tax on top of tax in RTO. No other country has such idiotic taxation that's why the best cars are available and sold there, and that's why Suzuki can't bring or sell the same models here because it becomes beyond reach.

With modi ji giving petrol at 50 rs per litre and high taxation on vehicles, maruti has no other choice. With less weight it comes with high mileage and less prod cost. That's y maruti sells more cars than it's counter parts. With current market a good vehicle costs 15-16 lakhs range which is unaffordable to many. So we indians still knowing the fact, get used to maruti vehicle. One point. A closed plastic body of maruti gives better protection than an open travel in bikes or scooter. So it's all about affordability of vehicle to middle class. Good vehicles like Ford and Chevrolet's already left our market. More will follow.

crumple zones +uhss = 1st gen swift and its safer than all of the cars today cuz once when i had an accident on 120 km with the concrete divider ntg happened engine was alright only thing is that the crumple zone has to be like that 1st gen ,not like today (use of good steel on crumple so it absorbs and the cabin dosent have any problems

Very informative and good ground work too. Am happy seeing this video just to that o can argue with my dad that his Old Maruti is still making plastic cans. I have Ford Freestyle and he doesn't seem to be happy only for the reason milage. But my car is a beast which is beyond a riders experience. Milage wise am getting 14km/l in city and a wooping 22km/l when I cruze and 25km/l when I drive a constant 80 in the highways. What else is needed to satisfy I still don't understand guys!!

I have always been a fan of heavier n safe German cars. This love developed after personal experience with maruti cars and near to death experience on very normal speeds like 20kms/hr and 60-70kms/hr. I have used Skoda Octavia from 2006-2017 (done 1,76,000 kms) and now I bought 2nd hand Skoda Laura in 2022. Hope to use this till it's RTO passing. Skoda is a very heavy car, enormous legroom and room-like boot. But still it gives top notch mileage i.e. 16-20 kms/hr (based on driving conditions). If you love yourself then keep a safe car because you are worth that extra money for service and low resell price. I have a Maruti Suzuki Brezza that's done 65000. But I hardly drove this for 1500-2000 in last 3 years. It's scary to drive any Maruti Suzuki Dibba after using a tank like Skoda Laura...

Dude , these global crash tests r necessary in those countries bcoz the avg speed of cars on their roads is nearly double that of India , u wudnt cross 100kmh inside any city of India , can u quote any data on how many accidents involved MARUTI car as a proportion of the cars they sold

@@AfsalK bcoz speed of cars in India in any city wudnt be more than 50-60kmh and per capita incomes is less , so build quality doesn't really matter at the end , India isn't West where 100-120 kmh is a normal thing , here in India we have dogs , cows , buffalos , speed breakers , curvy roads , narrow roads , over congested roads , no proper speed lanes , so it doesn't make sense to spend more for a city car with a better build if it gives less mileage , poor ride experience , lower resale value , don't think ur the only rational person in this world , everyone makes choices based on their rationale of multiple param Even the best build cars like BMW , Audi cannot prevent u from death if u crash at high speeds in India

@@ananb7747 you really think you are safe at 50-60 km,well ,just recently ,4km from my place a wagon r crashed with a truck and the only good thing happened was no additional hospital charges were needed as they all died on the spot itself.this accident happened in a very busy road with lot of curves and traffic (infact accident occurred on a curve,so they weren't at any 'high speeds' (according to your standards of high speeds atleast)).. On the otherhand a tata tiago went head to head with a truck at 70+ and the driver atleast is still live with some broken bones...a vento crashed with a truck head on and everyone came out safe, infact this came in newspapers here praising buildquality of vento,if you're taking about real expensive cars, there's a lambo crash at 250+ speeds(dashcam footage) in youtube, take a look at what happened, Nobody is saying you're completely safe in 5 star rated cars, but your chances of survival elavates substantialy, and these days you can get 5 star cars even at 6 lakhs(tata punch) and still if you're going for mileage and features,i really admire your priorities..good luck Also,I'm not trying to convince you ,i don't care if you buy maruti or tata , why would i care? But don't drag others to buy tincans by giving unnecessary hopes through senseless remarks.

There also reason why tata and other brands use 3 cylinder engines, bcz of Indian tax norms India the tax norms are based on engine capacity and in some other developed nations it's based on emissions Indian tax norms are such that after a point it will restrict the manufacturer to update and give good features to customers If we see all expencive cars are having 4 cylinder engines but its not available for lower budget cars Tax norms should be like , it should not restrict technology, Obviously there needs an update to the norms
