Three major reasons why people choose agents:- 1. if you apply online for lisence RTO takes 3-4 months to call for Test(varies to diff. Location) 2. Very long queues waiting for their turn daily, If you go early morning then also no gaurantee your turn comes. 3. Corrupted rto officers, they have tie-ups with agent. Conclusion:-driving licence procedure should be as simple and fast as Fastag and Online

I am a resident of Uttar Pradesh and when I visited the RTO office to request for a license, they kept on giving reasons after reasons to delay my license issuing process because I didn't give any money to the Agents. They were very unhappy with me and kept on asking me to take help or contact any of the agents, I know they also got a paycut from those agents. I think RTO is among the most corrupt offices in our country.

Same thing happen with me in RTO Aligarh(U.P.), it took around 2 years for a learning licence due to multiple visits, they behave in such a manner that you'll feel ashamed of not subscribing an agent. At every step they'll make you feel like a criminal. Finally for Permanent Licence I get in touch with an agent sitting outside the RTO Office.

My first license was made only through paying money. And it was “cool” at that point. But today, I can see the condition of the drivers in India and feel that there needs to be a delicensing exercise (similar to demonetisation) where each person has to renew their license through the right process. Today, I hold an Australia DL too and I can see the value of a strict driving test. I am ready to renew my license ligitematly! Government just needs to do it! Investing in world class highways and roads may not work if the usage is flawed.

I agree with you completely. I was holding a driving licence in India but last year I moved to Sweden and I took lots of practice classes to pass the driving test. Here is a brief summary of whole procedure: 1. You need to do Risk 1 and Risk 2 sessions: Risk 1: 3 hour lecture on risky driving. e.g. Night driving, Risks of drunk driving, braking distance, reaction time etc. Risk 2: 3 hour practical session where they take you to a slippery/snow covered practice area and give you a feel of aqua-plaining, braking distance in wet and dry surface, car control with new and old tyres Theory test: You need to score 51 out of 65 Practical test: It involve dozens of rules like, following a traffic sign, entering and exiting highway, driving on country road, parking, environmental driving and lot more. I will try to make a video on this. Thanks.

Bhai, you are absolutely right about the auto drivers in Bengaluru! I'm a resident of Bengaluru & the auto drivers are one of the most reckless drivers in the city. One of the main reason for this, in my opinion is the rising demand for bike taxies. Because the bike taxi thing is eating into their business, they become naturally careless & jealous towards other riders. I've personally heard people talking about how they get ignored by every auto driver when they wanna go to a particular route so naturally people choose Uber, Rapido etc. This is how the auto drivers have become so reckless. Then people can bring discipline in their driving. Otherwise this loophole can never be filled.

Good video and thanks for raising this very important topic. The best thing at this problem was told by a Russian driver when asked why Russia has so many road accidents and traffic violations? His answer was in the past Russians could not afford to buy a car hence the driving population was low. Today, most can afford a car hence they buy and drive one. In summary, just because one can afford to buy a vehicle (2 or 4 wheeler) doesn't mean they can safely drive one!! This best suits us here in India..... Yes RTO has lot to do and don't pin hopes on them, and as far as people are concerned, the Russian said it well!!

I took 2 wheeler licence without broker. Asked for two road signs and asked to start 2 wheeler and go.... that's it 😂got licence 😂. For 4 wheeler I took driving class and read the booklet given by driving class but when I visited RTO the RTO officer asked my education background and hobbies 😂 didn't took driving test. Gave licence. When I asked this to My driving class owner he said "Jalwa hae hamara".😅

You are absolutely right. My friend doesn't know the car driving, but he got his licence. After getting the licence, he learnt how to drive. This is the situation in India.

Informative Video. Every person I have met says other drivers are shit. Then where are these shitty drivers. I haven't met any, but I see almost everyone driving like mad. I think first of all Indian drivers need introspection. We tend to see the problem but avoid correcting ourselves.

The video title is bang on! I don't even have to watch the full video but I am going to anyways. It's the hard truth that the government wants to keep a blind eye as the money chain help them too.

I am from Himachal and I remember taking my driving test 13 years ago. I was supposed to take a reverse U turn on a steep inclination, brake in the middle and resume again. If the engine turns off, you are disqualified. I passed in the first attempt thankfully. Now when I see other stupid drivers around me, I feel the difficulty level was not at all worth it. Whats the point of all the effort when everyone around gets a license just by paying 2k.

Recently one of my dumb friend got his license 😂 my brother's dad has contacts in RTO so my friend first asked me to help him in answering the questions in the live online exam but i denied and my brother helped him achieve passing marks and we told him to atleast attempt one question by himself and he couldn't even get that right😂 after all he got license without knowing why traffic signs and even after two months he doesn't understand what is left right what is U-turn 😂 this fact irritates me but i still have him as a friend because of the respect he gives me!

Thing is, even if you want to get it done legally, they keep ignoring and delaying and giving excuses until you become frustrated and force you to pay them eventually. Without that, they won’t give you the license. They simply keep harassing you. This is my first hand experience that I’m sharing.

We need to spread more awareness on this issue. It is very unfortunate that many so called social medai influencers and KZbinrs with high Subscriber don't make content on this issue or such other issues. This issue is directly related to lives of people. But who care.

In kanpur there was alot of agent... But now everyone has gone... Due to new dm ... I got my licence without paying any money and gave all the test ... And in kanpur there is very narrow circle that is very hard for new driver to drive... I hope everyone should follow these steps... And they also do MCQ test before pratical test...

The RTOs are usually jam packed with people wanting to get their licenses. I had to stand in line for my LMV and MCWG license from 11 in the morning till 5:30 in the evening for the test car to be available. My 2-wheeler test was done by 3PM, it was an extended figure 8 track. The 4-wheeler test was done at an automated track but when I sat in the test car provided, it had no handbrake and the invigilator told me to just control the steering and not touch the pedals as he was controlling it. They just want to finish off the testing process, get through the candidates for the day and rake in the money. There are a lot of people with enough money to buy vehicles, a license will be included in these people's purchases. This results in people driving erratically and not knowing the mistakes they're commiting. And the police are content with pocketing bribes and letting off the offenders.

Excellent subject for this video. Doesn't matter how many new wider roads govt makes, people doesn't understand a simple concept of staying and driving in lane. Every Indian feels proud of getting license by paying under table money to agent or corrupt govt officials without learning a fundamentals of driving laws. Sad!

My friend never went to RTO. He just gave 4000 Rupees, and he got driving license within 1 month. He has been driving all over India, since 2015, without any license. And he drives really well, in short you can sleep peacefully behind the car.. He made this driving license, because now he has opened his own car leasing and travel agency.

So happy to see that.... someone raise this question...... I m totally unhappy with people how easily they breaks the traffic rules..... there should be a common sense..... just to reach 1 mint earlier they make whole road jam...... lots of chhapri rider thinks its cool riding bike like snake..... They think its cool not wearing helmet..... they think riding is easily no need to see right left before Turning....no horn..... no passing light..... its just bcz Indian RTOs certification is just about shifting gear....... and turning ryt left...... Just bcz of this 90% accidents happens.....

Great to see that atleast someone is talking about it. Strict driving tests are needed before giving any licenses. People who don’t even know driving are on streets with fast cars. Putting everyone around in danger. Govt. seriously needs to work on it.
