Great video. Didn't know about the two person option on the free account. Just set up my parents with that, thanks!

Thanks for the video. I do kind of like Bitwarden…as a password manager, it’s great, but it sure isn’t intuitive to use. My wife and I are struggling to share info. I’m at the point of looking around for alternatives.

Tristan, very informative video. I missed one key detail, or maybe it wasn't mentioned. Does Jane (or whoever the person is with whom I'm sharing) have her own master password or does she have to know what mine is?
@iksnawiass Жыл бұрын
Her own. She must have a separate account.

So let's see if I'm getting this right. With a free account, my husband and I can access all our passwords. I can make one collection for our daughter with specific access and another collection for our son with specific access. Is that correct? I assume that each of us uses our own master password? Thanks for this great video.

Can you please teach me about that 8 hexabyte storage? Please I could n't find the video
@tristanbolton3 жыл бұрын
For residential use I have this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mWfXaWmMqt2AptE If you want to try and do a storage gateway, this will present 8 exabyte of storage using AWS S3 in the background. I don't have a video on it but here is AWS documentation if you're interested: aws.amazon.com/storagegateway/?whats-new-cards.sort-by=item.additionalFields.postDateTime&whats-new-cards.sort-order=desc I'll add setting this up at home to my 'KZbin Todo' list

I am looking for a "profiles" type feature where I can separate my work secrets (or at the very least isolate work account stuff from personal one-way) from my main account. I guess collections are way to do this. Thanks for the video.

Is there a way to share passwords “secretly”? As in, without the recipient seeing the password, but being able to access your login.
@gficherPlays2 жыл бұрын
No. In that case, it's best to use a random password that you do not use anywhere else.

Is each person able to create their own collections? For example. Can my son share with my daughter but not me? Seems like only the owner controls everything in regards to collections.

you didn't show us the read only and hide password. I hope you can make an update on this using troll/test accounts. and also show us if Attachment can be accessed by everyone in the collection. would that TOTP code being shows be dangerous? this may cause an account take over right?

Im confused. If you buy the family plan wouldn’t that give you up to 6 premium accounts? That’s bs if thats not how it works

Does this mean in order to use 2FA in the family that each family member would also need to buy a premium account ($40 a year + $10 a year per person)?
@tobiasbollmann23473 жыл бұрын
probably you already found out, but you don't need to buy the premium accounts for each member of the paid oprganization. BW homepage says: "Paid Organizations (Families, Teams, or Enterprise) automatically provide all users with access to premium features"
