brilliant as always but the bass you started with sounds stereo to me and also in the meter in bitwig you can see the difference that it is stereo maybe am wrong

I think having a display on a controller is a big plus. cant speak for the quality of the hardware but the controller looks solid :)

not always. if you have a stereo file where the left channel is delayed and you delay the right channel, then you basically do the opposite. but generally speaking, making something wider is just adding as much differences between left and right channel as possible (until the brain doesnt perceive it as one sound event anymore).

Pleeaase, can anyone give tipps, how to make mid bass wider and in the same time mono compatible like this at 1:07 kzbin.info/www/bejne/gH-0Z2NvqZaWZtU And how to make mid basses like in that track, so they don't cross with the drums and all elements sound separate? I have only two strategies in my head: 1) i make mono midbass and send it to bus with stereo wider, but mono midbass and drums sounds like a garbage together or 2) i make midbass and make it wider by delaying left right channels and yeah, it sounds separately from drums, but in mono it sounds awful :( I tried the last trick in the video with my (mid bass + sub bass) group and it sounds great, it adds really fat distorted sound, but stereo image is wide only on high frequencies.. Mid frequencies are still in mono and cross with the drums... The example track is my reference and i would to reach the same quality but i can't :) Thanks for the video! A lot of useful information as always!
