Trying to get a good helical on the Bitz made me switch to an Arizona EZ Fletch. Definitely looks like a much needed product!

So question for you? If you get a left or right clamp instead of using the straight clamp, does this add extra degrees of left or right helical on top of using the wolvine jig? I just want a 2 degrees of left helical for example. If i use the wolvine archery jig tool and set my bitzenburger with a 2 degree helical, and then use the left clamp as well, will that make it more like a 3 or 4 degree helical?? Or is it only 2 degrees if i use the straight clamp with the wolvine jig set. Hard to find any info on this 😵. Thanks!

If you want any degree of helical, you need to go with the left or right clamp. My understanding is that the straight jig is not designed to add helical.

@MichiganAmBushOutdoors ok cool, thanks man! I was so confused and worried about over doing it. Just wanted a 2 degree left helical. I got the jig kit, plus the left bitzenburger clamp just yesterday. I guess I'll plan on using the left clamp and the L2 jig tool. Thanks for the help and the great info! I wondered how the heck you were supposed to find out how to do a 2 degree on a bitzenburger without that jig tool 😆. Best video I've seen yet on how to do just that so far. 🤘

@keithakam9271, I agree. It was complicated for me as well. This jig made setting things up so much easier, and I get consistent vane placement every time. I am glad the video helped.

Have you tried the October Mountain Phoenix Jig?

I have not but I will check them out.

Oh, man!!! I'd message him. I have no idea who the guy is. A buddy of mine told me about this, and I sent this stranger my money. I was happy with the product and wanted to share it with you all.

Good stuff man. That little jig is pretty impressive. What about that AAE knob upgrade for the Bitz?
@vanzalencole7 ай бұрын
What can a knob upgrade do? I just purchased my first biztenburger the other day.
@MichiganAmBushOutdoors7 ай бұрын
I have tried the knob upgrade. Honestly, I haven't used the bitz because I could never get the helical set correctly. I'll have to pick it up and see if it helps. I've heard it's got a better nock fit.
@MichiganAmBushOutdoors7 ай бұрын
The knock fit is supposed to be better and have better tolerance.
@RodneyRegalbuto7 ай бұрын
The other thing the upgraded knob helps is the spacing of your vanes; especially when fletching using 3 fletch config. The original Bitz knob 3 fletch spacing is way off on mine. Maybe not an issue on every Bitz out there? But definitely an issue on mine!

It would be nice if you position the camera so that we could actually see what the hell is going on instead of you seeing what's going on great video dude

My Mathew’s mq32 was best 1 degree of helical.

This thing is silly, People spend way to much time worrying about vane degrees. 1.5-3 degrees is all you need and that’s easy enough to guess on a burger and as long as all the arrows on the same.
@MichiganAmBushOutdoors7 ай бұрын
I prefer 3. Seems to fly the best.
@Texaslivinoutdoors7 ай бұрын
@@MichiganAmBushOutdoors ya that’s usually about what I do. After years of worrying about helical I came to realize it’s not as important as you would think. That 2-3 degree range is all you need. Same thing with point weight, guys worry way to much about FOC

Nice advertising promo, but I call BS on getting the "native" Bitz to 3 degrees helical. The tool you are promoting is designed to be the "master" causing the Bitz jig to be the slave and forcing the slave to the correct position for a set degree of helical. That is a great idea. For, say, 2 degree helical. But I'll challenge the readers to actually get to 3 degree helical with a 2 inch vane and good adhesion. Prove me wrong.
@MichiganAmBushOutdoors7 ай бұрын
There is no “advertising promo.” I have no idea who Wolverine Archery is, and if I did, I would be honest and mention it in my video. I am not about lying to my viewers or those supporting the channel. That said, I get a 3-degree helical on the Bonhing Jig, or at least that's what the clamps say, and when compared to the bitz, it's very close.

I don’t have an issue from 2 inch to 3 inch vanes with the helical. I’ve even got the TAC vanes that people seem to have an issue getting to stick to stick really well. There are insert tools to help measure to get an accurate degree of helical on the jig too. I personally run a 3 degree on all of my 2.5 and 2.75 vanes. 🤷🏻
