Just got mine today Tip for anyone else who gets this blaster I was able to get rid of the spring rattle just by unsquaring the spring ends It seems to have improved the performance a tad Also, it has a hard time firing the short darts that came with the gameface trion Enjoying it a lot, just mag dropping and reloading are super fun

I love mine. I ordered a second magazine and added a retaliator spring to it and it performs nicely.

If you haven't already should check the seals. Would guess 0ut of the box they may not be as good as they could be. Would give you a little more power and defo more consistency with each shot

Seems like something I should get, and getting the longer barrel is a good idea as I can attach something large and orange to it. I only wish there was a White/Orange option, or a solid colors except for all black. Oh! Orange grip and clear slide. But those are sadly pipe dreams. The best I could do is get two, Orange/Black and Black/White, swap the slides and never bring the black one out of my room, used only for cross room plinking. Also that text on the box in the video and in the product images are playing havoc on my google translator with either getting nothing or what I hope is the wrong words.

I really want a decent mag-in-grip springer pistol that doesn't have too much of a real steel profile. I don't know how realistic that is though because the real steel profile just makes practical sense for a dart blaster too

@camoyuki well, the new Nerf Torrent is mag in grip and looks like something out of Star Trek so...there is that. Otherwise, yeah, there is a reason pistols look the way they to. It works.

So strange that the one you got has lower performance and a longer barrel. Saw another nerftuber that has one with a shorter barrel and stronger spring.

Likely the same soft-ish spring as the one I reviewed, but with the longer barrel you would indeed get lower performance. Barrel length and spring are closely related. Too much/too little of one or the other and performance suffers.

So i checked the link to the blaster. Theres two versions of the blaster. The short barrel is cheaper then v2.

Kronos spring will do it. Also this is the T-21 Version 2

Having been messing with several recently, was pretty sure it was a Kronos spring (shifting frequency is... unique? to the Kronos and it's family?)

@tsmcgu Well, I can only speak from experience with the T-21 version 1. Version 1 is the original and still sold on biu-blaster's website. That said, it is exactly like the Version 2 in every way except the barrel. The barrel is supposed to have threads, which is why I got a version 2 coming as it means we could potentially mod this even further by getting a much nicer barrel treaded up and screwed in. Plus, the longer barrel is ideal with a scar. Rival Kronos springs are sometimes iffy, especially if you get them used. I am personally going to see if an upgraded Kronos spring, like from Out of darts, might eek out some additional performance, but as was shown in the video. This blaster is a hidden gem on accuracy. It and my Dart zone outlaw are pretty much my most accurate blasters I own.

Sounds like the slide could use some lubricant? just based on the first four minutes it looked a little finicky but I could easily be making a fool of myself because the look could be much different from the feel.
