pleasant too see 2 talented young gladiators in the ring. good close fight, good sportsman's like conduct by both. both great young men, it was a case where ya hate to see either lose but one has too and you dont want a draw. the hand speed, foot work, and ring knowledge of the Russian kept him a step ahead the whole way and it was a good decision

I am impressed with Bivol here. Radchenko is a tough man and I was surprised how convincing and strong Bivol looked.

Bivol is a superstar man. Has everything. Only slight drawback is his size at 175 but I think he's a little bigger than I thought, not sure going down to 168 is a good idea after all. But his talent and ability at 175 I think is way better than the likes of Canelo who get so much credit, and right below Loma. Loma, Usyk, Bivol might be the three best boxers in the world. Crawford has spectacular talent too but I don't think he's an expert technician like Bivol. Might not need it though with his talent so long as he can take the punches he does eat, which we dont know yet because of his opposition.

@@punchforpound2808 Bivol won against Joe Smith and Pascal. Both are big hitters. Bivol also soundly defeated Canelo. Bivol is going to fight Zurdo Ramirez in the coming November. That is going to be a good fight. Ramirez is big and tall. Bivol has to be at his best to outscore Ramirez. My bet is on Bivol winning the scorecards.

I'm a big Bivol fan, and his trainer says he has amazing fight IQ, but when he hurt this guy to the body in the 3rd round, Bivol did not follow up to the body at all. I'm sure he has developed since then but that is something to keep an eye on. If he really has that elite fight IQ, he will learn to take advantage when he gets opponents hurt like that, while maintaining smart defense like he showed here. He is definitely the most talented light heavyweight in the world but in big fights vs top guys, he could get robbed or even lose if he repeats the mistake of GGG vs Canelo and doesn't go to the body (that's cuz GGG is past prime more than anything, but still).

Emphasis on body work is what separates amateurs from pros. His pro level has def grown since than and body work is pretty emphasized by him now.

Poor GGG just lost to Canelo. GGG's best boxing years are behind him. Is he over 40? Now is Nov. 2022. But Bivol whipped Canelo and you were right on the button about big fights. They almost robbed Bivol. Most experts believe Bivol won 9 out of 12 rounds. The score was like 2 points apart. Also, Bivol won handily against Zurdo Ramirez. Dmitry Bivol is the real deal.

Bivol doesn’t really specialize in the body punching category. It’s just not his style. He only jabs and throws straight punches to the body for feinting purposes but does not intentionally hurt the body. He’s the guy that capitalizes on opponent’s mistakes and attacks. He never initiates the attack.

​​@@jaydenvu4178 this is true. If you watched the BTS of the Canelo fight, you'd hear Bivol telling his coach, "I want him to throw more punches." (non-verbatim) pertaining to Canelo because Bivol knew that only when Canelo threw more punches could he capitalize on his mistake and lure him into a trap a.k.a the demolition job. He schooled him nevertheless and only his arms were hurt by Canelo.

Is this fight from 10 years ago? Dmitry looks young. He must be like 21 years old. But that in/out quickness was there with a mighty straight right, sharp left jab, and left hook. Dmitry then could have beaten Canelo.

Ну конечно он боксировал в своем весе а Канело вообще не полутяж, и сразу же выдохся. А вот Бивол если спуститься к Канело в 72 кг тогда по смотрим на что способен Бивол. Так что тут не надо умничать.
