Bixler 2 build tip, wing-mount without stupid screws

Here is a build tip for Bixler 2 builders, Bixler 2 is a great plane but i think the original design of the wing mount is very bad. Trying to get servo wires through a tiny hole and connect them inside the plane where you have no access, and then use screws to fasten the wings..that sucks... Here is a tip that solves these issues, and makes mounting the wings fast and easy when you are at your flying location :-)

An interesting idea, however, dremeling out a spot in the black plastic on the wing roots for installing strong magnets is much better as it allows the wings to detach in a crash. Bye!

This is a very creative solution. Did you have to adjust the Bixler 2's motor thrust angle? Mine kept trying to crash into the ground when you increased throttle.

Thanks !.. No, i did not have to do that, but i am not using the stock motor, i am using an inrunner. The only thing i noticed was when i applied flaps it wanted to pitch up, so i might need to mix in some down elevator with the flaps, but now i just waiting for the "Matek F765 Wing", flight controller i have ordered for it :-)

Your plane may be nose heavy. Adjust battery position so that plane balances level front to back when suspended from points 65mm back from the leading edge at the wing root. The Center of Gravity (CG) should be at this point.
