Prime Ministers are not elected by the people. They are appointed by the other successful politicians in their Party. In Labor's case it is a rule that each Labor member seeking election MUST be a member of a Union and the Unions basically tell the Government what to do. In Albo's case they were told to vote for Albo "because it was his turn".

A independent scientist in a scientific discussion of the economics of the existing spending and what will be needed to try to get us to delivering renewables to meet these demands in the future said in his talk exactly what the RBA said about the rebates. This guy knows his stuff and has costings of what of everything with each of the electrical systems. His costing for SA the renewable energy state where I live is the around 31c/kW hr wholesale price. It is 10c higher than Victoria and twice as much as Ontario. State Govt is spending our money on voice, hydrogen production, desalination plant, renewable steel production, new colleges to support these renewables, soccer stadium, free concert for the fortune few and football ovals.
