Trackers are interesting but I think the concept is too strange. Trackers were created by hackers not musicians and it really shows. It was genius at the time but I think we've evolved since the days of the Amiga. I guess I just don't see the point as modern DAWs seem superior in every way.

Nah man I think they're just as relevant as ever. Especially as renoize has incorporated VSTs etc. etc. etc. Unlike past trackers of the 90s and 2000s ( - thank f*ck, otherwise I might more readily agree with you!) . Basically, if I can put it this way; There are a number of different approaches or advantages/disadvantages / skill sets that each individual person comes stock with (well obviously) some helpful some not so helpful,, so, some of us find traditional daws unnatural in terms of production "style" (approach and or ones natural feel for writing their music - talents or struggles). I'm also one that prefers to have knobs and faders with outboard gear to be able to produce at my best , that with physical immersion but that's a side note, though it is relevant to further bring home the reality of individual approach and necessities that come with that) I reckon, if someone writes a program that's like a mix between say, FLstudio and Renoize , or give more DAWs a Tracker option for sequencing , that would be Powerful stuff! * I don't use Fruity , I'm learning ableton, but I started on a Tracker (MilkyTracker). My flatmate uses FLStudio20 , and I see where the two could potentially cross over , I think that would be a dope DAW. Have good one!

yes perhaps it´s hard if you come from rhythm scene and not from demoscene lol. I found muting parts a lot easier than copy/paste into new track but arrangement was not even possible in old modules.
