Yeah I couldn’t believe that either . Just get her relaxed and settled in with some seventies discrimination humour to her face. Then insult her dress sense. Is he jealous when faced with a truly unique talented woman .

She was bored shitless here. You know when she's being asked the right questions because she comes alive & gets very animated. Here she is just putting up with Ross' bullshit due to her sweet nature. She'd much rather talk about music if the plonker would only ask about it but that would take the spotlight off of Jonathan Ross for a while. Heaven forbid.

iceland people had a revolution in about 2012 they took back the power from the bankers and politicians that wanted to bankrupt the island. know one talks about this important event i wonder why... Another fact is that soldiers are not allowed to vote i wonder why? maybe because they would be a threat to the nwo?

Um really I can't watch Bjork on KZbin without seeing gaga-type comments everywhere. It's ridiculous! I've loved Bjork since I was 14, I'm now 21 and actually like Lady Gaga for what she is. But the two aren't even in the same category! Not even sort of. Just stop it, seriously. Bjork is an amazing musician, Gaga is a good "pop" star. They don't intertwine.

If I had the chance to interview one of the greatest artists of our time, I would definitely do my research, so I wouldn't embarrass myself by asking if Iceland is where 'the Eskimos' live! And I wouldn't tell anybody that I needed to look this up... you should KNOW that Iceland is NOT where 'the eskimos' live... it's called general education!

***** Well, you know, there is all those various awards she's won, such as grammies, and also golden globes. She's been featured in many "Top ___ of all time" lists, and she had an app inducted into the Museum of Modern Art. Which, for whatever it's worth, was the first of its kind. You don't have to like Bjork, but she's definitely one of the more influential musicians out there. I mean, you SHOULD like Bjork, but if you're stupid or something it's totally okay. I mean, I like Bjork, and this is coming from a guy who typically listens to classic rock, death metal and hip hop. Try to be more open minded--I think you'll find you enjoy things more, and find more things to enjoy!
@Tintenfischchen

No need to get mad and swear at people you don't even know... Maybe it's 'british humour' (which I normally like, btw), but this guy just isn't funny IN MY OPINION... And humour is a matter of taste, there's no ultimate definition for what's funny and what's not...

@zombiiination if you do some research, you'll find that not only does Gaga do mostly her own material, but she has been employed as a songwriter by Sony for a load of major artists. I'll agree that she employs a facade of originality rather than really showing any, but she does have musical talent in lots of areas. Not just a pretty, marketable face.

Jonathan Ross always uses gambits to break the ice so the person being interviewed will feel more relaxed, which in turn makes the interview flow better. In this case he uses stereotypes, which could cause offence in the wrong setting but the light-heartedness with which he delivers them shows there's no malice in what he's saying.

@tiarnan76 My dear (...ummm...person of undisclosed gender? No! Actually, i'm going to venture that you Sir, are...well...a) Sir, It causes me much dismay to hear of your recent "close call". A collapse of one's nerve is assuredly unpropitious, and quite paradoxically may incite a brittle disposition henceforth. I am of course no physician, however, my female shrewdness compels me to prescribe a brisk walk succeeded by tea of a wallpaper stripping potency. A staunch panacea. PTO

@tiarnan76 cont. Perhaps I am still naive of years, but I have yet happened upon such idioms as "satchel of shit" and "fiddily biddly flappability". They did however provoke a few illicit giggles, at which I trust you are not displeased. Your inference of my intentions (grammatical and otherwise) being nothing other than pure, leaves me truly gratified. You are evidently a man of the world, not to mention honour. Yours faithfully Lady H of KZbin

@tiarnan76 Ahh I see...yes that's true in some contexts. This however isn't one of them. There's also the OTHER meaning. Here it is from the dictionary just so there's no room for quibbles. :) Adj. 1. mutually exclusive - unable to be both true at the same time. Hope this provides some clarification. I did however adorn "coexist" with a needless (not to mention thankless!) extra "s", if somehow that causes disruption or anguish, well then, my sentiment can only be that of contrition. ;)

I am sorry but Gaga is more similar to Bjork than Madonna. The media try to compare Madonna and Gaga cause of the enormous success that Gaga has. Something that Madonna tasted as well in her "hey hey" days. Since I was a teen when "Debut" was released I have this to say. Bjork and Lady Gaga are real artists. Madonna has some artistic moments in her musical career but definitely not like those 2 ladies.

@camelotgeorge33 i Seriously doubt she wirtes her own music, she may contribute in some way, but most of it is done by producers and record lables. She is a commercial package, everything about her is designed to sell and nothing more. I'll deny lada gaga has talent. SHe can sing, certainly. but thats it. The music thats being produced under her name is nothing but following th etrend of pop nowadays, thers nothing fundamentally orignial with her, only the image that shes original

So glad the presenter makes an effort to pronounce her name correctly and I hope others will follow his example. I'm tired of this "Bjåårk"-shit. Thought Icelandic pronounced the "Ö" as the swedes, Danes and norwegians. Proves me wrong. And in case you didn't know already, "Björk" literally means Birch.
