Iceland is such a beautiful country with stunning geographic scenery. Bjork used to walk alone to school and on her way she would sing to the natural scenery she encountered. It's no surprise that geography plays such an important emotional role in her music.

They challenge each other, which is what push me up to a state of emergency means... they make each other face the truth about themselves and do things that are scary and actually live their lives to the fullest. They understand each other's emotions in a way where they don't have to always use words, which sometimes there aren't words that adequately explain your "emotional landscapes" their friendship heals each other. I would love to ask Bjork how she feels looking back on her old works and what does she think of her past self; how does she feel about the journey she has traveled from 23 years ago in '97 all the way to present day. I think this music has aged like fine wine and I think that even today it is still the most unique sound I've ever heard. Music like this just can't be made anymore by many artist. Artist these days are losing their creativity.
