I'm 99% certain the clavichord is being played by Guy Sigsworth in this video, he has the same hairstyle. Also, because Sigsworth played the organ on the album version of 'Unravel' from 'Homogenic'. 'Unravel' was Sigsworth's first co-written song with Björk. Sigsworth met Björk and became her keyboard player, and later music director of her live band for two albums. Sigsworth brought his early music sensibility to Björk's live performances and recordings, adding harpsichord, clavichord, regal and positive organ accompaniments to her music. Sigsworth's harpsichord can be heard on the song 'Cover Me' from Post; clavichord on the song 'All Is Full of Love' Sigsworth also played celesta on Björk's cover of Joni Mitchell's 'The Boho Dance', the celesta later became a feature on both 'Dancer in the Dark' (where he also contributed a string arrangement) and 'Vespertine', on which he co-wrote 'Hidden Place', 'An Echo, A Stain', 'Sun in My Mouth' and 'Harm of Will'.

The Gaurdian's pick of Björk's best TV moments: 6of6: South Bank Show - Unravel (1998) If you have a spare 51 minutes you really should watch all of Björk's 1998 South Bank Show. Featuring rapturous character references from the likes of Bono and former president of Iceland Vigdis Finnbogadottir, as well as footage of Björk recording her album 'Homogenic' in Spain, it's a brilliant portrait not only of how she creates her art, but of how her home country has influenced her independent spirit. One of the defining moments comes during a live version of 'Homogenic' highlight 'Unravel'. Filmed in what looks like someone's gran's living room, Björk - accompanied only by a Clavichord - passionately delivers lyrics about the devil stealing the love she and a partner have created with her eyes clenched shut, arms and hands sketching out the words as that voice sweeps and soars with a delicacy that's utterly breathtaking.

that looks like a really awesome clavichord... not a harpsichord. Such a nice performance.

I'm soo late but I think that's a virginal! which is closer to a harpsichord (plucking the strings) than to a clavichord (striking the strings). The virginal has a sweeter, richer and louder tone than the more tinny, softer sound found in clavichords. Clavichords tend to be more "flat" too. The consteuction of the instrument in the video is closer to that of virginals
