This song gives me hope, many people fail to realize the message in this song, helped me get through shit I’m going through and reminds me to keep my head up, “the blues they sent to meet me, they won’t defeat me, it won’t be long till happiness steps in to greet me” this message means so much, you might be going through something tough but I promise you theres light on the other side of the tunnel, I’m going through a very difficult time right now, but life’s not about waiting for the storm to pass it’s about learning to dance in the rain, God bless everyone

@billwilson82678 жыл бұрын
Propane Salesman where does it say that? Just because a movie was made a certain year it doesn't mean it takes place that year. I will admit that it did conflict with the scene from the director's cut of the first movie where JJ recounts his 9/11 experience watching from out his Daily Bugle window, betting on how many people would jump.
@propane_salesman8 жыл бұрын
King Crimson Chin Well, not even that scene, it's the fact that it was just a couple of police cars there, that people weren't running away screaming, and if Peter saw that many people dying, I can assume he wouldn't just eat a hot dog and fuck off.

This song was on all the charts, for music and BJThomas, was spoken about, all the time. One day, his Dad, George was holding him, out of the clear blue sky, Jon started singing this song. Every word and perfect melody and pitch, Raindrops! He was 13 months old! As God, is my witness! He has not stop singing, yet! Beautiful voice!! His dream, to sing in the public venue! I hope so..He has perfect pitch! I am always amazed and enjoy, his serenades!! A true story! His Dad, loved to listen to him! A joy!

I spent new years alone because I got tested positive for covid the day before. Instead of seeing my friends and girlfriend during my break, I had to isolate from those I missed dearly. It's especially painful as I live across the ocean from them. The 31st I was depressed. I started to get myself back together. Today my girlfriend broke up with me because long distance wasn't working out, with how little we could actually see each other. Feels like I dropped into another void. I never knew I could be in this much emotional pain. One day I'll be able to be free again and not worry despite the raindrops that keep falling on my head. Everyone, I wish you all the best for this new year, despite all the pain that may make a good year seem impossible. This song has been my rock these past days. Cheers.

Please take good care of yourself......good food, regular outdoor exercise, do something you love when you're down like listening to music, watching a good movie, go walk a shopping mall, etc....and soon " it won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me. ". If you believe and if you can, talk to God and ask Him to help you. God bless you.

2004. My old man playing this on Christmas morning when I just unwrapped my new DVD player and Spider-Man 2 DVD, during the first heavy snowfall my hometown had seen in 100+ years. ICONIC. I miss that time....

This song represents my child hood, My grandma had a bear that played this song and danced a little. I remember always going over when I was 3 and up and playing it hearing rain drops keep falling on my head. I swear I'm so glad I can here this song. I'm 15 now and this song is just so nostalgic. Where did the times go

Raindrops keep falling on his head. Has he heard of an umbrella? I think they had umbrellas back in the 60s when this song came out. Pretty sure I saw a few in the movies back then. Even from the movie that this song was based, Butch Cassidy and the Can't Dance Kid they had them. Granted, they looked old but they still had 'em. Seriously, though, one of the immortal undying classics that sounds as good over fifty years later than when it was released. Unfortunately B J Thomas is dead. But his song will live on forever.
This song is just works like endorphine . It takes every stress ,tension ,anxiety and worries and all from my mind which troubles me a lot when I don't know what to do with this .But After listening this song my mind refreshes and become ready to do next task .😍😍😍😍

I woke up out of a coma after a week back in 2007 and I remember when I woke up my family was all around me and I was just so sad of thinking of what I was doing to them and myself. Later that night I was going threw some things friends and family had bought me while I was there and I came across a duck and I squeeze the toe and this song came on. it was from my sister Dianna, and I cried and promised myself and them right then that it was over and it has been. Life is good and I feel very lucky.
