I finished this in only 2 days, I made it with a thin cotton yarn and 2.5mm hook so I added a few additional rows, it turned out amazing, thanks for the tutorial!

Can you tell me your measurements what size did you make I am trying to make with thin yarn but size is not accurate
@taylorwaning47344 ай бұрын
@@AditiJain-i4oI would start by chaining the length from bottom of breast to middle (nippy😅). Take note of how many extra chains you need vs her pattern, hook, yarn, etc. maybe start by adding that many to the pattern when you do the waist part row 1. You can also add more rows of sc to the cup to get the size right before you do the detailed edging. (If I remember correctly size smalls normally have about a 5”-5.5” cup if you measure but don’t quote me) If you don’t feel comfortable repeating the detailed rows and dealing with all of that, I would just do 2 sc rows for every 1 that she does in the bodice to add some length and extra rows (or if you feel like it you can repeat other stitch rows!) Idk if this makes any sense lol but I hope so 😂

@@AditiJain-i4oyou can also double or triple up the yarn if you wish 🫶

definitely making this…oh my it’s so pretty!!!! totally my style haha. i’m much larger (pretty top heavy, but my underbust is narrow comparatively) so i’ll try to remember to leave my adjustment notes in a comment below this in case anyone has similar measurements to me :)))
@sonnysunshine2875 Жыл бұрын
ok so here were my on-the-fly adjustments and notes: my measurements: 57.5 in / 146 cm bust 49.5 in / 127 cm underbust for the cups: i chained 17 to start (16+1 for turning) i also did 9 rows of 2 of each color (18 rows total) i totally winged how many rows i was doing, but with 18 rows after chaining 17 to start, the V-sts lined up PERFECTLY so huzzah! for the straps: even though i’m much bigger i found that chaining 81 for the straps was just right for me too. except if you wanted the tails from the tie around your neck to be longer for the aesthetic, you’d wanna chain at least 100 for that look i also did sc into the chain of the straps instead of slip stitching just so it looked thicker and didn’t look out of place with such a larger cup and band (plus it may be stronger. idk if it’s actually stronger, however. i mostly did sc instead of sl sts to balance the look of it) for the band: instead of chaining 12 and 13, i chained 36 and 37. this met in the middle of my back so that i could crochet the sides of the band together instead of lacing it up. i would probably chain 32 and 33 next time, and if i wanted to lace it up, i’d probably chain between 20-26 (20-26 + 1 for the other side). i also skipped the V-sts on the band because i messed up my puff st row and it ended up ruffling a bit. so if you see my finished piece, that’s why i omitted that row lol. this fits me great with these adjustments! i just would’ve chained a few less for the band because it’ll probably stretch over time. note for those who are lacing: i would recommend a romanian cord instead of a chain for the lacing if you have a heavier chest just because it’ll be much much stronger. no one wants a broken chain when you’re out and about!!!

hi! it's a beautiful top! i'm trying to make a size M, how many chains should i make? like at the start on this video for the back part?
@BJax2 жыл бұрын
I chain 10-12 for all sizes because I like to leave an open gap in the back for the lace-up closure. This makes sure the top will conform to your body shape. If I added more length to the sides then there’s a possibility that the back won’t close up at tightly and securely as you’d like.

At 14:36 (row 7) it says to start a SC in the last stitch. Shouldn't it be a Half Double crochet?

When you attach the cups and go back with sc, do you sc into the slip stitch or skip it?
@iliageorgescu2749 Жыл бұрын
I personally skipped it (that’s how she did it in a different tutorial so I thought she would use the same technique)
