Just telling if anyone read the memo: leglocks are allowed in BJJ and leglocks are very trendy in ADCC for a long time.

@Steelmonger888 all the BJJ are leaning leg locks, we do 3 days a Week Gi and 2 days or so No Gi, No Gi we do Heel Hooks, Knee Bars and Toe Holds, Calf Slicers etc .... our Instructor BJJ Black Belt who trained with Marco Ruas and leaned Heel Hooks probably 20 years ago ... I rememer seeing a Dean Lister Video and being the 1st to introduce Toe Holds to our Gym (were one of our Purple belts, now brown beat Black Belts , Brown and Purple belts with the Toe Hold) ... Neiman Gracie training Leg Locks with John Danaher for 10+ years so nothing new under the sun

Wrist Roll and Kneebar double attack. Either the opponent allows you to escape or you end up breaking his leg. Simply brilliant.

One of the first moves I learned in Catch Wrestling, I had no idea there was a kneebar there

Interesting how Bernardo noted the hip position being different than a bjj kneebar Thanks for the vid as always

BJJ is a universal language. Context aside we see Sakuraba's japanese translated to english interpreted into BJJ theory by Bernado and then demonstrated live by Craig. Three men who all have a different native language. Still works.
@@BigJamesGraham , Z F doesn't said that BJJ invented grappling. Also, D Z is wrong thinking that Sakuraba never did BJJ. Sakuraba trained in Curitiba, Brazil, under Chute Boxe, there he trained BJJ with gi and he received his blue belt under Cristiano Marcelo.

Gracies also played football. That doesn't make them football players. LoL.

Considering that Sakuraba is a catch wrestler I would say the BJJ guys learning his language

Isn't this the Kneebar set up he used to finish Carlos Newton with back in the Catch wrestling vs BJJ Price FC era?
@bigjamesgraham26563 жыл бұрын
Carlos had his back and sakuraba stepped over grabbed the ankle and kneebared him
Dope, who's the Luchador that hangs out with Sakuraba and/or translates for him?
