FYI, you should head to the men's section to find the "wide leg high waist" trousers. I'm a curvy girl and didn't have much luck in the women's section, I hit the jackpot in the men's section for "high waist, wide leg" trousers. I scored tweeds, plaid, hounds-tooth and so much more!

Wow. Yesterday at Goodwill I bought 14 items for $75. Average $5 per item. Got an Hermes look-alike Anthro vegan leather dress (was $198 new). Anthro silk blouse (was $250 new). Five KILLER belts -- including wide belts with cool buckle closures ... as I see in my spring/summer Vogue collections magazine. Whoo-hoo! Now I'm on the lookout for crochet/macrame items, also per spring/summer trends. This is FUN!

Loved the ruffled blouse and totally remember the Victorian trend in the mid to late 80's. My roommate and I decorated in that way in college as well as wore the trend. So romantic but could easily be toned down with lace up boots (which we also wore.) Enjoyed the video and styling 😍

fun fact ! What we often called 'victorian' style now is much more 'edwardian' than victorian lol. Victoria was queen from 1837 to 1901 and Edward VII from 1901 to 1910 so all those flowy romantic blouses are much more of the latter ! :D

Love the sweater you are wearing in the video! I only found a few gems of clothing when I went thrifting at Value Village last weekend! Two of my best scores were a brown tweed print long length coat for only 10 bucks and a pair of Calvin Klein boyfriend jeans for 7 bucks! Love the phantom tee- I found a phantom sweatshirt at a yard sale this past summer for only $2! Love: the New Orleans tee, 70's tee (I found a 60's Philmont tee at a Consignment shop a few months ago), plaid pleated midi skirt, navy pleated Max Mara skirt, Liz Sport skirt, cream detail sweater (would look good with a white slipdress) You look so "Don't Tell Mom, the Babysitter's Dead" in that black 90's power shoulder cropped jacket, that Gucci inspired skirt looked so good once you tried it on

Same thing here, I braided my hair, & girls, m 66, lol. I love going & just hanging around wth. the lady that shops thrift stores, we r mostly going to goodwill stores, stopping at yard sales when I m passing thru. I deliver scriptures from the BIBLE. We enjoy ourselves. I recently purchase a Michael Kors purse, at Goodwill, I also purchased an expensive purse at an Antique Shop (can't remember the brand, but I use it more then my Prada Bag). M laying on my sofa bed, sick wth. slight cold & terrible cough. I enjoy watching this program, thanx.

Great job! Love that plaid skirt best. I gotta tell you it's SO easy to put elastic on those sleeves. I would teach you how if I could! Get yourself a sewing machine when you're thrifting. You will not regret it. A sewing machine is a girls best friend. ;)

I really like finding weighted pleated midi skirts. And it a plus if they button all the way from waist to hem. You found some good good, will go out on IG to see how you style them. Great video. :) You're right on trend. I'm impressed with the what you refer to as the "Moo Moo" dress. It looks so good on! Thought it looked like it was gonna be/look old ladyish, but it looks awesome. :) The pleated diagnal plaid skirt is a classic therefore will never go out of style, & looks very nice on. :) Just FYI. The blue color block boxy pullover sweater has actually a "Cowl" neck, not a "turtle" neck. Turtle necks are the ones that come right up onto the neck, the ones that hug the neck. Cowl necks such as that one, hang from, off, away, from the neck, & are folded down. Though some what similar, the two are not one of the same. A lot of people get these two style necks confused with each other, but they are indeed their own style. :) Google Cowl neck, & Turtle neck to see the difference. :)
