First Row of WALLS for My New Big Log HOME in the Wilderness, Door-Frames, Oak sink, Ep.2

The preparation of the main logs for the construction of the walls took a long time, but now that there are enough logs, I am ready to work full working days to finish the walls by winter. At the beginning of the video, I concreted the columns for my hallway, which in the future I will connect with my forest kitchen.
For the first row of walls, I cut a 29-foot pine log in half to make two sill logs. After installing the first row of walls, I made door frames, which will later help save the amount of logs spent.

I hope you Replace ten times the trees you logged, to make up the hundreds of years it will take for them to grow to a healthy mature age. Too many trees for one single human enterprise. I live in a metal shed, insulated and surrounded by ponderosa pine trees, some estimated at least 250 year olds. They deserve be left alone and I love them as they stand. You can't beat the sound of the wind going through them at night. Priceless.
