For simple brevity: The new dlc bosses hit like Fire Giant while being as agressive as Horah Loux. Also, some of them get aided by the camera.

The new bosses hit harder than fire gigant and are somewhat aggressive, similar to some bosses of bloodborne. And yes the camarera definitely helps many of them, but overall this is a pretty easy dlc but very fun 👍

@purplestrawberrysunset They probably mean that they were scaled against Bayle and Messmer but not against Dancing Lion for the sake of fairness, which overall lets us have more entertaining fights that aren't "this boss will win because it's stats are way higher" (most of the time anyways, Godrick ain't ever winning a match lol).

The DLC bosses are mainly more difficult because a lot of their attacks have less recovery time compared to the base game. They literally attack with little to no break and their combo strings are longer.

it is not exactly true that they give little/few breaks. They pause only if you are behind them. Which is something none of the AI actually tries/is programmed to do.

Although Morgott and the Beast are not directly related nor do they probably know about each other's cultures, their looks are similar due to their relation to the Crucible. Morgott was born afflicted with a Crucible aspect, which manifests as disfiguration and especially spontaneously sprouting spiraling horns. In times of Golden Order the Crucible and Omen such as Morgott are shunned or even hunted for what is widely considered a curse of theirs. The Beast is a divine spirit that originates from culture that worshipped the Crucible - the Hornsent, who took pride in bearing the tangled horns and saw them as a sign that they are chosen people. This culture was burned to the ground almost entirely during Messmer's crusde, and we can assume that was the moment when the Crucible became hated. The age of Marika's reign literally began with a purge of its worshippers, and she herself achieved godhood by using the Divine Gate atop the Hornsent's sacred spiral tower, which probably was one of the main reasons the war happened in the first place

Cool video, though I worry that the choice of arena may have given the divine beast a bit of an advantage. With all the fights taking place in a pool of water and the divine beast having lightning attacks that he uses often, that's a free 10% damage boost for a boss that's already stronger than most of its opponents

You should keep the NG+7 scaling regardless of the DLC boss health, (or scale their stats specifically like the Scadutree Fragments do). The DLC bosses all have faster, higher damage dealing movesets to begin with, while the main story bosses are more "fair" and balanced. It also makes the fight make more sense and I'm not left scratching my head wondering why Dragonlord Placidusax would lose to someone else's minion.

Explains why they cant be reborn, the greater will chooses who can be reborn, and if the greater will doesn't like you, have fun. So yes, the divine lion and morgott are related.
