It's funny how the two complement each other so well. Gideon's moves have a lot of dps, but most of them deal poor posture damage. Rennala deals a hell of a lot of posture damage, but has poor dps due to her being an early game boss.

On top of that, Gideon is way more tanky due to him being a late game boss, and he also has the Crimson Tear Flask to heal and rolling, while Rennala is far more frail. It’s extremely effective then that usually Gideon is in front and takes the aggro while Rennala spams from behind, and if she’s targeted she can even “nuh uh” all damage with her Full Moon. They work freakishly well together

Honestly the Gideon Rennala duo have a surprising amount of synergy. Gideon has his flask and more tanky so he can draw fire whilst Rennala spams and poise breaks from a distance. They absolutely dismantled the likes of the Godskin duo who have no real synergy. They’re the rare duo to actually take down Maliketh even with Gideons blunder, and they actually pressure Melania, partially due to Rennala’s smart use of her full moon technique to get out of the way of damage. Hell during the Rykard fight Rennala had a sliver of HP so Gideon taking the heat actually saved the day

Just a few things: That Maliketh fight was one of the closest fights I’ve seen in a while (And at 15:38 Gideon knows the proper spacing for that vertical spin to flurry, which is impressive). Rennala’s immunity during the moon cast nearly outlasting the entirety of Waterfowl Dance is an interesting discovery and the way she did the cast at around the same time as when Malenia is preparing her Waterfowl is stylish of the Moon Queen (21:02) Hoarah Loux finishing the fight with two grabs in a row made my day, especially during that last grab where Gideon realized he was out of heals and proceeded to get slammed to death through his opponent’s sheer strength (17:49)

Great video, while Gideon did indeed serve his purpose as tank, Renalla was doing real work doing what seems like most of the damage and landing most of the killing blows for her team. It would be great to see Renalla and Radagon team up to take on all the Demigods.

I don't think you should have changed Gideon's move set because it seems to have confused his AI at times and most likely made him do worse than he could have. An example is him constantly trying to spam Comet Azure even though it leaves him open like in the Rykard fight. Still a good video.
