Hi Bernard, great video. I'm "old school" with IT, new to the VM world, so thanks for getting me started. Did you do any of the other videos you mentioned, licensing, web portal access, etc? If yes, do you have a way of stringing them all together so that it's a start-to-finish series? There's not much reference material that I can find on this stuff (that I can find so far anyway on the interwebs), so a start-to-finish series would be great for a lot of folks, I think.

​@@Comoplantardinheiroif you're still looking for a good guide, I eventually ended up getting "Remote Desktop Services for Windows Server 2016" by Hasan Aboul Hasan off Udemy. It's not expensive, you can usually get it on sale for next ro nothing, and it goes over EVERYTHING pertaining to RDS and Hyper-V VDI. It's a really great reference. Another good reference is the book "Mastering Windows Server 2016 Hyper-V" by John Savill. It covers all areas of Hyper-V but chapter 11 is dedicated to Remote Desktop Services and it covers all these areas of VDI in great detail and his explanations are great. Those two, combined, will get you running and maintaining Hyper-V RDS like a pro. They definitely helped clarify all the areas I wasn't sure about.

in windows 10 just one user at a time can login, if another user logged in it's will disconnect the other user who already logged in.

the template does not show up when trying to create desktop collection. followed the steps, but when creating a virtual desktop collection, the template does not show up. What i am doing wrong ?

Hey, hope you read this: I can't get it working, I deleted the local user account and enabled the admin account on the template but when I try to add the template, it shows "Could not identify the state of the virtual desktop. Ensure that the RD Vizualization Host server [Server] is available on the network and the virtual desktop VMTemplate is shut down". I tried installing it from a fresh install 3 times and just can't get it working. I already enabled Rdms-UI Logging but can't find someone who has the same error as me. Can you please help me?

Can we install virtual machines inside an ec2 instance ? I got the message in my server manager: You are logged in as local administrator on the computer. You must be logged in as a domain user to manage severs and collections. Does it mean I can't ?

How you fix this error? I have two server one is ad and one hyper-v can't find any fix for that.. Failed: RD Connection Broker could not create the computer account object in Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS). Ensure that the RD Connection Broker computer account has permissions to create computer accounts in the organizational unit (OU), the RD Connection Broker server can contact AD DS, and a duplicate computer account object does not exist in a different OU.

Can you deploy a Hyper-V VDI Cluster with two WS2019 Data Center Edition nodes running Storage Spaces Direct and install everything in VM's on that cluster (i.e. Domain Controller's, DNS, DHCP, Connection Broker, WEb Access.......) or do some roles have to be outside the Hyper-V VDI Cluster ?

This is a great video. I appreciate the scaled down example just to see the moving parts working. One thing I'm trying to accomplish is getting a VGPU working on the remote Desktop Server. I've been pursuing various possibilities. I thought Hyper V would still allow for it, but I see a message the remoteFX has been disabled. I actually thought using VGPU could be done without remoteFX. Is there any way to get like NVidia Grid K2 vGPU working with VDI anymore?
