I liked the way Blair was always touching Todd--his hands, his hair, his face. That showed such tenderness and nurturing. It was the only human touch he had during that time of his life, when others treated him like a leper. I think it was comforting to him.

I think this is a quality that's extremely admirable in Blair. She never judged him right away, always gave him a chance to answer accusations first instead of jumping to conclusions, And also wasn't afraid to physically touch him . Everyone else acted like he was some kind of leper, It was particularly graceful and kind I think for her to treat him that way.

@Justicia007 she was attracted to him in their first meeting but saw the monitor then realized he was the pariah todd manning but after a few more meetings she found todd very funny & normal & told him on that park bench " i can't explain it but I feel comfortable with you" thats why they were such a super couple just them saying goodnight & both slowly walking away then sorta looking back at the other then finally walking away had more electricity then the bang me up against the wall forced couples sex. Their first time when todd was so nervous almost virginal was incredible acting on both parts but rh pysically showed a lot. Blair asking him to dance & his " with me ?" She kissed him & he pulled away then went into hard . Next week see them in bed & todd looks like a fumbling 13 year old hes on top blairs calm but he's so wild kissing her than stopping then getting on top & switching from side to side then grabs her arm to the bed post then starts the wild kissing til blair knows it's just awkward & todd is not comfortable so what i loved was blair saying " sweetie just slow down" & of course todd yells admit it I'm scaring u! Which showed how serious his self loathing was as blair was the aggressor & didnt act scared at all she just wanted him calm plus she knew he probably hadn't slept w/ anyone in a long time other then raping a woman. Anyway blair was so good w/ todd took him to dorians they talked about their dreams drank a little then blair kisses him again. Todd walks away as blair back turned says nothing & we see she looks so sad. Todd stops b/c he doesn't want to blow this as i thought he was already falling for her & oltl built their friendship over 5 months mix in blair saving his life. Anyway he goes back to blair & tells her " if u want me to stop let me know" then blair calmly sits on the bed puts her hands out & says merry christmas & they start kissing fade to black. I mean that meant so much to todd while sadly blair immediately regretted it. B/c she still wanted cord back & I guess thought it was reckless. I think todd was totally in love after that. Esp when he went to rodis & heard cord on the phone w/ blair. He was so jealous. Sadly blair told him she didn't think they should even be friends anymore. Poor todd. Thstai loved when he said to blair about the sex " damn it you liked it!" Oh yea she did. I love later when she tells todd he's a wonderful lover when they married & unknowingly thought she wasn't pregnant told him that but was admitting she still had feelings for cord. Once todd got the $$ I'll never get why they had to have blair still panting after cord.

This right here is why we love Blair and when she is at her best. Defending Todd who usually defends her in turn. Marty's life become hell later...she totally deserved it.

I honestly like this Todd more than the Todd we have now, comparing this one with todays its obvious he's a TITAN compared to the now, he could easily be stronger than John Mcbain. Lets hope when OLTL comes back Todd will be like this again after he frees himself from Allison Perkins

@laurelnroses - yep looking at these scenes again you can clearly see why he fell for her, she as always there for him when no one else, she believed in him too and she could always understand him better than anyone. And eventhough her later schemes end up hurting him, her scheming, bitchy attitude only made them equals. He's not perfect but she's not Susie Sunshine either and that's the beauty of T&B and why they fit together.

This was so easy for Todd's attorney to prove. Match up his bandage to the role of bandages at the hospital and I'm sure Marty's time at the hospital was documented as a worker. Done!

I love Blair and standing up for Todd. I just wish she would stand with him again against everyone else in Llanview for supposedly ''killing'' his brother Victor.

Marty stinks, I didn't realize how early on Todd and Blair knew each other, I was only 14 and expelled from school when I would watch with my mom.

Marty: Todd's never going to pay for what he did to me. Todd: went to prison for a year, lost his place at school, has a massive scar on his face, lost his job, lost his good reputation, lost his place to live, got shot by the cops, got taken prisoner by Powell and terrorized. There are a lot of different ways for someone to be punished. It wasn't up to Marty to be his executioner...but I understand her feelings.

I do too but she as a victim knows the real rapist is out there & won't stop plus thr nurses & wacky rebecca who wasnt raped wasnt exactly reliable. Anyway it's the same m.o. they couldnt nail him for throwing nurses so how couod they get him on rebecca? I totally get marty wanting him back in prison but again the other victims deserve justice face their attacker & marty should want the real rapist stopped.

@nattyps3160 I think that's why this show was so good. Marty was a heroine and a role model but they showed that she wasn't perfect. Her feelings of wanting revenge are totally human and totally understandable. It's good that they didn't make her a cardboard cut out character. I still say she had deep feelings for Todd and they weren't hate. The show wasn't going to go any further with it and that's understandable too but it was certainly interesting, and well written

@Justicia007 exactly this show had so many themes " turning of the tables" where todd was the one who led a brutal gang rape on a very drunk marty. I loved how she said to todd " how do u like ur creation todd now ur the one trapped u can scream & nobody can hear you " todd looked terrified. Todd saying so " this is about power" & she replied " u bet it is" marty got it that todd raping her obviously wasn't some pervert in the bushes that just wanted sex ( that was more zack as he had no beef w/ marty he was scary b/c he did it for the fun of it all & as todd told him after zack blamed him todd said u were drunk & horny ) powell was a coward & wasnt Mr im.so sweet either when we first met him & todd he actually in a hazing could have said no & kevin the frat president would back him literally asked marty for her damn bra when she told him no he actually grabbed her blouse til Jason & suede shoved him off & a bar room brawl broke out. Uck powell was sickening using his very similar talk to his 2nd cousin viki where they spoke in upper class old English to the other. Funny vikis kids never spoke that way. Maybe the buke influence plus shockingly todd zack & powell all went to prep schools & viki put herself in public school. Todd later tried that w/ a bigger starr but she also wound up when living w/ blair public school. Anyway the rape was so complex & the soap format allowed for the story to at its fullest go over 2 and a half years. Todd raped marty out of power degradation as he was angry w/ himself he didn't stay to cuddle marty as she cried & pleaded. His obsession grew as marty kept bringing it up or used him a couple times once to get back at him the other to make suede jealous. We know todds a genius but he was so arrogant very peter manning jr & didnt study all year at calculus. Some fans had theories that marty really did feed him fake formulas.

I love Todd but I understand why Marty lied....what he did to her was horrible... she wants justice and she couldn't get that so she'll settle for injustice..... I'm not justifying what she did but I get it! I know three people in soaps whose character got redeemed for raping somebody they cared about...EJ and Jack from DOOL and Luke from GH!

I completely understand Marty wanting Todd to be locked up for what he did to her but she's trying to set him up for a rape she knows he didn't commit, thus leaving another rapist out there, and probably someone who isn't know for assaults leaving them more likely to commit another one unlike Todd who everyone is afraid of and watching every move he makes. This is an extremely stupid and selfish thing for her to do, although I do realize her mind is probably destroyed from being gang raped.

I think there was a strong draw on both sides there between Todd and Marty. Marty and Blair were jealous of one another for sure.
