Burst 3 is legit why I always bring Hugo with me. His AI is really good at dropping a Link Burst on you when your gauge is about to run out. Just in case I get too caught up in getting damage out or trying to time a perfect guard and forget to maintain my gauge.

I think the only thing you left out was skills like wrath of revenge, beloved and the other one where you or your teammates enter burst if someone dies. Other than that pretty good video!

Good question. Hugo and the Avatar Cards are proficient at it. For others, you can set a skill that makes them more likely to use Link Burst Bullets.

For all the power burst 1 has burst 2 and 3 are ludicrous.if they nerf player stats at all for balance they should slightly shorten the max possible time of burst 2 and 3 due to how absurd the dmg dealing gets. If they dont do this much they should hp buff the gami i swear. They drop like flies compared to some BAs out there. They should also make the gami more resitant to stagger hits the more times they get staggered and make them harder to knocm down after each consecutive knock down just like the status effect immunity build up from ge 1 and 2

My bro is disappointed that theirs no Predator style and Control Units. He doesn't like the Burst Arts Nor The Blood Arts, he Prefers the Predator style instead of the Burst Arts.

Predator styles would have been great considering how important Burst is now. Control Units were the buffs Predator styles gave right? I don't think GE3 needs that. Accel Trigger and Engage buffs are more than enough.

You'll see for yourself soon enough, but they really reduced the amount of passive buffs and stuff that directly affects your attack and def. The way Abandoned Arc skills now is a good example. Accel Trigger, Engage, Burst and Elemental Attack on weapons are the only way to see noticeable differences. The result might feel be that the game feels empty or less rewarding to players who grind. But either way, the emphasis is now a lot more on the gameplay which I appreciate. You can't get carried by your build anymore.

@@bkbrent BK Brent I think that predator styles spoiled us a little. Before I never had any problem keeping my burst in the psp GEB and in GE2RB. I loved the blood arts but some times it felt like they made you too powerful, specially when fighting against original generation aragami. Burts Arts seems to be a little bit more balanced since you need to be in burts mode in order to use them.

@@bkbrent i never enjoyed bullet crafting, and I just grabbed super efficient OP bullets/skills combos online, and if I didn't enjoy hitting them, I spammed my assault rifle. Yes, my assault rifle. Idk, blast gun wasn't my thing, even with knowledge of the OPness of it.

I remember back in God Eater 2, there was a skill where when i give my araragami bullets to my allies, i will be in burst state and will increase the more i give to my allies.

Nope. no Mutual Burst, no Burst extension skills, nothing. The most is that there's an Engage skill that increases Burst duration, but that's it.

I assume "Mutual Burst" skill was removed on this version? In GE2 it gave you burst (level1 ir refresh) when ally received your link burst. 2nd: Are Aragami bullets gone? There was a good one, from Chi-You on Assault Gun, very helpful for wing break when you don't run crush melee.

Mutual Burst and practically every other good Abandoned Arc skill was removed. Aragami Bullets are removed and replaced with a passive buff that increased gun damage to an Aragami you devoured.

Is there a reason not to "engage" with someone all the time? Seems like it would be the smartest thing to do sense the burst bullets are shared between you and your ally.

Yes. But if you and your ally gave Burst 3 to each other already and both of you are proficient at maintaining it, sometimes its better to wait for an Aragami to be downed before activating Engage so you can maximize damage. Using Engage for Burst 3 is a good enough reason to activate it either way.

Use am attack button during a step. As simple as that. A step is that dodge that you can do by pressing a movement direction plus circle.

I think you should have included the faint skills as well: Wrath of Revenge: Enter burst if a team is incapacitated. Beloved: When incapacitated, opposite-sex teammates enter full burst. Friendship: When incapacitated, same-sex teammates enter full burst.

Thosr aren't reliable ways of getting burst so I left them out. Perhaps I should have made an honorable mention but I don't really like promoting death as something that has any merits in a game.

The best places to use it is on AI companions, while they don't go down frequently, they also aren't a make or break for the missions on solo. Also the Beloved and Friendship are actually really good for assault missions, as if you go down you can give seven people full burst. But I do get what your saying as its not good to promote death in the game. But it is good for players to keep in mind as a way to mitigate death if that is a real problem. In my opinion at least.

If you are in Burst level 3, is there a way to maintain it at level 3? I supposed that if you use devorer when you are already at level 3 it does not refill your gage? It will be too simple in a way....

You maintain it in the same way as you would level 1. Devours and Burst Inducers. But if it depletes at Burst 3, you lose all burst instead of it going down a level or something.

I general only use guns to heal. So I play Shotgun/Ray Gun because it has good burst plugins that help melee. I fire a Ray Gun with real bullets once in a while.

Just to be clear when using a Burst art it's only a buff so to speak correct? When you press X or Y it would phyiscally change what you are doing. For example, I have Supermoon. It would change the way it looks when i preform a "burst" correct? If not than i am still confused because i can't even tell if i'm preforming a burst or a Supermoon etc. Another example it says for falling Moon i can just press right click or Y. Meaning that attack type won't give me a new animation. Falling moon is just buffing my Y button right?

My problem with the link burst bullets is that they are too unpredictable. They will almost never go for my Engage Ally in the thick of it, they'll hit terrain more often than not or spiral around my target several times before dispersing. It needs a huge update. Also this game kills my old playing style. Strictly gunner ( shotgun or Assault ) /bullet passer, not a fan of the nerfs to guns.

This game throws a lot of "tutorials" and weird jargon at you without real explaining anything for at least the first few hours, its terrible.
