DD mence is particularly lethal. Give it the right support and it is potentially the best sweeper in the tier. With the meta becoming a bit speedier and bit less bulky, you could really argue it's at its' zenith atm Edit: Thanks for making this on request. Looking forward to more

Oh one thing I think is worth mentioning is Roar on mix sets. On some defensive teams it's good to have it as a fallback for Crocune and whatnot, and if you have spikes the phazing chip damage can be great

I’d argue DD mence doesn’t really need rock slide if its paired with Magneton to remove annoying Skarmory, allowing you to run HP flying, Double edge, and Earthquake

without rock slide you're walled by aerodactyl and are worse against zapdos so that's definitely a no go

I'm personally not a big fan of salamence as I find it dull when compared to t-tar, gyra, and even dragonite is more fun as it has a large move pool. Salamences design while cool is a little boring when compared to other pokemon, but I do have huge respect for it as it is infamous for a reason and I never like to face against it.
