Well done on picking up on how Salah attacks the box. Traditionally, wingers would be assigned to their dominant foot so they can cross the ball in to a striker, so right wingers were right-footed, left wingers were left-footed. Mo is left-footed though so instead of playing along the touchline he likes to cut inside along the 12 yard line. Inverted wingers have been in style for decades now but inverted fullbacks (like John Stones at City, Trent at Liverpool, Zinchenko at Arsenal etc) are becoming the next big thing.

The reason attackers turn it up a gear in the '18 yard box' is because if they get fouled inside that box then the attacking team get a penalty so the defenders are very wary about making a challenge against the strikers.

Hey, love your reaction. I know I'm 8 months late to this, but BT sports made a documentary summary of the 2018 champions league that Liverpool won (I think it was the 18/19 season). It was one kf the most incredible champions league's of recent years. You had Tottenham, a club that basically has won nothing, and managed to go far into the compeition (I wont spoil how far), you had a super young Ajax team that was incredible and played beautiful football. There were some incredible comebacks that year, from positions that were thiught impossible to overturn. Its a 40 minute video I think, and talking about it now makes me want to watch it again. You could make a 3 part reaction to it if you wanted and it would give you a great view into quite a hisotircal Champions league.

He's not a dribbler: He stays behind after training to practice & perfect that. His dedication to his craft is impressive, for example growing up he would travel five hours to get to training, and then five hours home again afterwards. Mo is the tip of a very fine iceburg though, and the team behind him has always been as dedicated as he is. He's also not a striker, he's a winger.

He is currently 4th in the liverpool goal scorers 100 behind Iain Rush but We have had a superb gift for christmas. Mo has signed to play at Liverpool untill 2028.
