We need to understand that he belongs to a generation where Indian masterji’s used to be little strict on the kids coz the kids were usually naughty. He just imbibes that teaching manner. Rascism is the new India.
@preethishetty61794 жыл бұрын
explorehunter we need to accept truth of what we see, we see so many videos where westerners made yoga a physical exercise, for great and fit body , while yoga in actual is realising we are more than material / physical body . Reaching beyond the physical dimensions. But I am not saying there r no Indians doing the same and aping the western concept of yoga today . You see quite many of Indians doing it too. It’s like yoga went to the west and came back in a new form without its original spiritual essence /purpose . And this purely is my observation not physical/cultural bias. I don’t know if talking your mind / truth is also racism today but I am not ready to lie or close my eyes to truth to prove myself to a pretentious world .
@explorehunter4 жыл бұрын
@@preethishetty6179 Still trying to establish that going beyond physical realms in yoga is only for people of particular geographical area is nonsensical and absurd. Any human being can do it if they mastered it, be it Indian, European, Asian, Arabian or Russian. All are human beings and spirituality is not a monopoly for India! Also it is injudicious and incongruous to think that yoga lost its spirituality because it went to the west and came back! It would have been the same even if it stayed in India itself, Indians are prone to corruption like anywhere else in the world.

Mostly our gurus sold and selling Yog to west... most probable reason seems to be money... I don’t think if they only wanted to teach, then they have plenty of students here in India as well.. that too those who understand Sanskrit and Bhartiya culture.... still they go out of their way to teach foreigners... money is important even after attaining this level of consciousness.. strange. Keep spreading ancient Bhartiya knowledge in west (rather than in India) and keep gaining their appreciation.

@surgeclemency50864 жыл бұрын
It seems that is your conviction that "Yoga is about humility". This is not an ideology and not Buddhism. Despite there being ethical norms in the Eight-Limbed way of Patanjali, the main focus of Yoga is on Self-Absorption, the Union, the Oneness. Being humble, compassionate, or forgiving is but a method of achieving the State, and not necessarily the quickest one. Going to work every day is also a good method. Gymnastics and prostrations, breathing and various plexus tightening exercises, control of the mind is a rocket-launcher method. The fact that BKSY is straightforwardly direct does not imply that he is somehow impatient, rude, or mental. In my view, he is just withdrawn and dispassionate. And what is the fuss about who is better? Having content and giving knowledge is better than keeping appearances, is it not?
