honestly i usually don't agree with lucas but he is right. he just lost his uncle who was like a father to him and he loved him so much and brooke was expecting from him to join the party and be happy when he just lost his uncle(more like father).

Exactly!! This scene really showed how Brucas did not make sense. Brooke gotta love her was trying to be supportive, but she wasn’t seeing that what Lucas needed was alone time. I don’t see Peyton doing that, seeing as she had alone time in the party. Mouth and Rachel had no valid points. Jimmy also at fault for Keith’s death. I realize he didn’t pull the trigger but he created the environment that made it easy to pull the trigger. Also, at the time everyone thought it was Jimmy so mouth pointing out that Jimmy also died was completely insensitive. And Rachel was just completely ignorant. Brooke was blind to how Lucas was feeling. If I were in Brooke’s shoes I would have given him the space. And just met him where he was at. Maybe shot hoops with him, or played video games. Be that listening ear that he neededx

@@lauraschoenborn3544You claim Brucas didn’t make sense when after this scene Brooke does give him his alone time when he leaves and he comes back to thank her and tells her that he loves her after telling Peyton how insanely in love he is with Brooke. It’s been established that both Brooke and Lucas were different.. they weren’t similar in anyway .. they were “opposites attract” despite knowing that they still managed to love the other. Brooke brought out a more relaxed, flirty fun luke while Luke brought out a more grounded Brooke. Their dynamic worked because they were opposites … Y’all try and downplay their relationship for what? Leyton was endgame no need to keep trying to dismiss what Brucas had because you feel it didn’t make sense when they showed all s2 on why it does make sense .. we saw them build an actual friendship before dating again.

Lucas is better than me! Fr! I would have scream against all 3 of them! (Girlfriend included) No one will never make me hate Lucas, No one will never make me believe that the break-up of Brucas 2.0 is only his fault, when the only faults he had were getting kissed by a bleeding (almost dead) girl, and never call Brooke when HE WAS STRUGGLING WITH HIS UNCLE'S DEATH, an HEART DESEASE, and needed some time alone!

@@Kori3isab3ast I know, that MF left Basketball (the thing that was his whole life!) because he understood that no matter how much you love a sport, your loved ones always come first! They say Luke had no character development, him confessing his heart condition was the perfect example to show his growth! But of course this thing is overlooked, because no love triangles are involved in this case! He isn't a bad boy who magically become a perfect man thanks to his girl! He isn't a partygirl that become an indipendent business woman, who wants to adopt a teenage girl! He is a lonely boy, who never had a social life (not popular one, at least) and that he ends up in a new world that was always unknown to him! He falls in love for the first time, he find out he has an heart desease and he wants to live his life at maximum, because he feels for the first time, that he finally fits into this world that always outcast him! He screwed up, many times, and that's literally normal! He is the most realistic person in the "main 5"

Lucas was totally in the right. Brooke and Rachel throwing a party after the shooting was inappropriate, and the fact they try to justify it to Lucas’s face is disgusting. Lucas had every right to be upset. Lucas left because he saw his uncle who was basically a father to him moments before he got shot. Rachel like “iF a PaRtY hElpS uS aLl UnIte tHen wHy not” of course coming from the girl who released the time capsule and caused a shooting. And don’t even get me started on mouth. Mouth is like “nO luCaS 2 pEoPle DiEd” MOUTH SHUT UP YOU DIDN’T EVEN TALK TO YOUR BEST FRIEND FOR YEARS AND DIDN’T EVEN NOTICE HE WAS GONE FROM SCHOOL. Also how the heck is the guy who bullied Jimmy still in the school?

Yeah. Honestly in my opinion this is why Brooke and Lucas made no sense. And trying to argue that everyone is hurting was insensitive to the person that lost his FATHER FIGURE in that shooting. And Mouth I realize he felt guilty but pointing out that the person who was thought to be responsible was also killed that day was insensitive and completely wrong. Brooke, Mouth and Rachel really invalidated Lucas’s feelings.

Lucas didn’t have an issue with he & Brooke being different he establishes that as early in s1. Despite their differences they managed to love each other .. no person in this world has someone that will totally 100% get you … that’s not reality. And are we forgetting that Brooke was the student council? She went in this thinking about everyone involved and mind you she was there too when the bullet first shot off.

lucas is fully in the right to not want a party (which was dumb af high school students will take any excuse to party for a lot of them its not about "help") but he understood, and only got angry when he saw someone (the one who bullied jimmy) making fun of it, and brooke and rachel and mouth are acting like hes the bad guy?
