I can definitely see where your coming from in regards to the Spectre, his powers heavily rely on how much God himself would give the Spectre depending on the situation, and we know that God isn't always at his vengeful side hence i can totally believe that. Hell, the Spectre is also very dependent on a host, and host's can vary wildly that may or may not hinder the Spectre's wrathful nature.

I think video games don’t usually use characters that have kinda abstract unique powers like dr. Fate. It isn’t just super strength or speed or power blasts or anything so it’s kinda hard to make game mechanics around that.

@Arch-Perezeta The only issue with making tl;dr type videos regarding Constantine and Zatanna is that their histories are so massive an intertwined with the DC landscape as a whole. Constantine is a nightmare to pin down Continuity wise. Let alone making it bite sized, It would be a Herculean task unless rob intentionally ignores aspects of his history to make the video not 30min+ Zatanna is still a mess, but its do-able. It'd just be *quite* a task to trim down the unnecessary bits. Making History videos on the Magical side of DC is generally hard because those comics are really far back reaching and very fleshed out. The hellblazer run ran concurrent with real time. So john at the beginning of hellblazer was 20s-30s. At the end of his run before the reboot, he was pushing late 60's. Theres a lot of history when it comes to the big magic names in DC. an absurd amount even compared to the DC's big 3 their individual histories are large. Dr. Fate was so easy because a large majority of his history in DC is inconsequential at best. Only his very early runs, and his most recent runs are really worth talking about. Everything inbetween can be largely disregarded because they were failed attempts at trying to bring him back.

Everyone always attributes Dr. Fate as being DC’s Dr. Strange because Dr. Fate is an omega level magic user or whatever. But DC is a universe where God, Morningstar, Michael the Archangel, and the Spectre are characters. So John Constantine honestly is a better representative of DC’s magic. Sure, he’s not traditionally omega level, but he doesn’t need to be.

To play Devil's Advocate, just a little, I'd say Constantine is too fickle(or maybe freelance is a better word) to be a "better" parallel. Fate/Strange, historically, have an insane sense of duty, if not outright responsibility to things greater than themselves. Try convincing Constantine of the existence of things greater than him(half joking, bc I do see your point and Constantine isn't exactly 100% prick and is much more than the POS that he lets people believe he is)

This might take a bit. He traditionally uses order magic, but when necessary he can call on all sorts of types of magic like dark magic, chaos magic, and other types as well. He has super strength so vadt he can hold back a planet with spectre and knock out an evil Superman with a punch, speed so great he can react to a speed bltiz from Superman and Martian Manhunter, and is so durable he survived being thrown through infinite dimensions by spectre and survived in a place where reality is nothing and anything can happen. He has had so many specific spells, that it would take a really long time to list them. But besides his nigh infinite amount of spells He has energy manipulation, flight, duplication, reality warping, matter manipulation, precognition, telepathy(works across dimensions) and telekinesis(moved a planet into the sun using his mind) intangiblity, invisibility, illustration creation, size manipulation, elemental manipulation(pyrokinesis, hydrokinesis, aerokinesis, geokinesis, electrokinesis) he can manipulate the dead to an extent with necromancy and resurrection .
