That Frank Miller run is probably my second favourite marvel comics story. Such a gritty and grounded story. Introduced some iconic characters and features some of the most definitive versions of others including Matt himself. It also established Millar as one of the top comic writers of the 80’s, leading to many other incredible and iconic works that are still cherished to this day.

Daredevil: Born Again is one of the best comic book storylines of all time, and is definitely in my top 5 marvel. The storytelling there is so good everyone should give it a read

I will say that my favorite runs on Daredevil would have to be Ed brubaker Brian Michael bendis and chips runs ( even though it wasn't for Frank Miller for being the inspiration for runs that came after him.) Cuz the way Daredevil has been put through the pace he still considered in my eyes one of the best characters at marvel. And to think he's arguably on marvel side is had the most acclaimed runs in the last 20 years it's like very consistent with his story time. And I can't wait for the show to come back on Disney Plus.

Great video. Helps me understand why I no longer care for comic book superheroes. Whether or not the stories are any good is strictly a matter of personal taste. Not my debate. What bothers me and has always bothered me was the lack of consistency. Of course over decades of heroes and changes on the business end consistency is near impossible. I get that. Also, the same old story arcs have to be refreshed and replaced. Otherwise redundancy beyond compare. Where they lose me is making major character or story changes and then erasing them. Kill this character. Bring the dead character back. Reconning backstories and re-inventing story directions. Over the years it gets too confusing and unreliable to the point that a great story arc often gets erased to the point of completely illuminating a character's identity. Case in point here with Daredevil's identity. Back and forth. Masked heroes without secrets makes no sense. Kind of like the Inhumans wearing masks while only dwelling in their own locals. Who was Blackbolt hiding from? No one to hide from. That's a whole 'nother peeve. Like I said, great video. DD was one of my childhood favorites and am currently enjoying his MCU revival.
