Archie Silver being able to utilize a large portion of the abilities netted by the Chaos Force isn't unreasonable. For one, being able to achieve a Super Form at all in Archie requires a great understanding and amount of Chaos Energy and how to manipulate it. Considering he already has knowledge of techniques like time travel in his base form and was trained by Mammoth Mogul, one of the most potent Chaos Force users in existence, its very likely that he would know how to utilize a vast amount of its higher level applications. Him being able to fight side by side with Sonic & Shadow against Archie Solaris, which would have destroyed the 5D Archie cosmology, means comparative stats is a given. Ultimately Silver being able to use most of the abilities of the Chaos Force isn't completely unreasonable, and likely should, and will be allowed.

Based on this, this would reasonably mean that silver has a much higher power stat than trunks due to the highest threat trunks faced ( with help. ) was demigra who was attempting to destroy the “real world” which would put him dimensional at best ( unless I’m misunderstanding the feat which is possible. )

So a random question: With all the talks about the phoenix force (and the lack of information we get from it outside of a general “they have interacted with the phoenix force”), should there be an episode featuring a dominant Phoenix Force user so we can finally get a proper explanation from Death Battle? Or would that be seen as a waste of time if there is no proper counter to showcase it? Other than that, the fight was about on par and it did seem like Apocalypse couldn’t give two cares. That and it ending in a literal curbstomp was a nice and unexpected death sequence.

I'll be honest, I think the fight was kinda rushed. I feel like it went Start > End with no real inbetween, and I feel like they might've rushed it out a bit. The death was pretty cool though, with Apocalpyse making Black Adam unable to bust out a Shazam via his massive boot.

So this episode, was a pretty great step up! Analysis for Both: Good, just good. Nothing special. Fight: Very good, but way too short and some issues with couple of Apocalypse's models VAs: Awesome Music: Gothic Rock! Edited but Death: You and Biff shouldn't had been confused. BA used all of his living lightning and Apocalypse pretty much did a Doomsday reference soo... Post Analysis: it was fine. Overall: Extremely Good Job and Much Improvements than the Disappointed Blunder that was Bond vs Wick 9/10 Edit: Oml, that's some of the most unnecessary amount of nick picking I've seen from Nemesis, seriously complaining about Apocalypse's voice which it makes sense bc thats how he is!

Honestly my biggest issue with the episode is that the fight's basically over once Apocalypse goes big. The DBX gave us such an awesome exchange using the environment to their advantage. Overall this episode really just made Black Adam look kind of weak imo. Overall I prefer the Death Battle but if I had to pick deciding on which had the better highlight, I'd pick the DBX fairly easily.

Well to be fair - I think a lot of people expected Black Adam to win because how ridiculous op he is - them that Death Seed came up and this Apocalypse wins. For a good reason why it needed a team of heroes to stop him. And you know who else got that treatment of we thought who should win? Cable vs Booster Gold. Even the devs thought Cable would get the upperhand.

So, as someone that never read X-men comics, I need to ask for a specific clarification. Is Apocalypse capable or not capable of absolving magic in general? I ask cause I find it weird that Dr. Doom figured out a way to absolve huge levels of cosmic energy on just his own tech, magic and skill. While Apocalypse, THE big bad of X-Men, with the tecnology of higher beings can't figure out a way to do it.

Slight nitpick but it bugs me that, after Apocalypse destroys the camera, the cracked overlay is present on many of the shots afterwards, even in the start of the conclusion. Like, different shots from different angles implies these are all different cameras in a live recording of the fight. So why are all the cameras cracked after Apocalypse breaks one? I guess they imply DB only has one camera with that Boomstick line, but it's still curious to me.

I don't mind how stupid the face of Adam looked during the death, because it's not like the death in general is supposed to be super serious. It's literally Apocalypse shoving Adam's face against the camera. The fact that the face is also modeled after a meme of The Rock is a pretty big giveaway that they weren't going for the most serious tone for this.

This episode was pretty great! Not nearly one of the best Comic Book battles, but better than I was expecting it be. 100% felt like Black Adam was the underdog main character. I was pleasantly surprised when he remained the underdog and lost. Lots of Death Battles make the characters seem so similar the fights become boring brick fests. You were clearly a bit peeved.

Also for the music of the episode, I feel bad saying that this is one of the few times I think the music was actually bad, both for the episode and just on its own. I don't know why a rap was chosen to be used for this fight as it doesn't really fit either of the two, on top of it just not exactly being an all too good track, at least personally. There is actually a lot of evidence to suggest that Silver can do the super form on his own. There is no evidence that Sonic gave Silver the super form. Shadow as there too and we know he can achieve the super form. Plus the super form should barely matter as Silver can fight Dark Enerjak for 4 issues straight and he is stronger than any Xeno character. And masters of chaos like silver all have the same baseline for powers. In fact, Silver is shown to be one of the best at controlling chaos energy out of any character so he should be comparable to Sonic and Shadow. So yes there is evidence to say that Silver should scale in power set to Srchie sonic and shadow. Not trying to make this sound aggressive or anything but he just do have legit arguments to say he can use those powers and many instances, chaos magic has granted different characters similar abilities and resistance

Haven't watched the review yet. My thoughts before my stupid ass sheep mind inevitably switches to confirm to youtube daddy. I liked it. The lack of "comedy" based cutaways in the episode was nice and I like the continued bullying of beak. Truthfully Black Adam's wasn't all too memorable but for some reason Apocalypse's just stuck with me. For no reason in particular the line "if they would not respect En Sabah Nur, they would fear Apocalypse" is kind of raw. I like the fight. The backgrounds once again look GORGEOUS, hell this might be the best 3d backgrounds yet. It makes sense that they just start trying to kill each other. Apocalypse invading Kahndaq and Black Adam defending it is the best setup you could need. I could do a play by play of the entire fight but 1) I'm lazy and 2) I'd probably miss something. But I feel they definitely used enough of their powers. Black Adam used everything. His basics, Lightning, Strength, Flight. But they also used the wisdom of Zehuti and the yellow lantern ring with a specific callback to the lightning tiger which, yes, looks awesome. Apocalypse gets to start out with his robot army which is a power that most people wouldn't expect. He gets to fly, morph his body, extend in size, mind read, shoot energy projectiles, absorb energy and redirect it (mostly for the kill) and regenerate. Which I feel goes enough beyond the basics to justify it. The one moment from this animation that stands out even among the rest of this banger is when after Adam puts on the ring they just start speed blitz fighting and casually break the moon. There's no real attention drawn to it. They're just casually fighting and that happened. Although don't get me wrong most of the fight looks awesome. And that death. Homelander eat your heart out (pun kinda intended). I think this barely beats it out being even more drawn out and while is face is mashed potato the healing factor probably just barely keeping him alive long enough to feel the pain and watch his life work crumble, before being killed by his own lightning is BRUTAL. The downsides. 2 handrawn bits in particular look... off to me. When giant Apocalypse goes for a punch his head looks like it's not attacked right, and Black Adams stomped in face looks like a puppet. Like if you've ever watched Total Drama World Tour and remember the final 4 song with Al and Heather. Looks exactly like the Alejandro Puppet. I also do wish the absorbing of the lightning came from Black Adam fully saying Shazam and Apocalypse just holds his hand out and catches the lightning. THEN you have Black say the oh shit line and it's not cringe before the curbstomp. and finally next episode is a dragon ball vs sonic matchup. for the love of god please no. All in all. I love this episode Both these characters are amazing villains (in black adams case I feel antagonist fits the bill more). I'll have to give it another rewatch or 2 and let it really sink in but I think this could be anywhere from 5-2 on my ranking for this season. OmniLander is still untouched for #1 though. ALRIGHT TIME FOR ME TO WATCH NEMESIS SAY IT SUCKS AND PUT IT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST WOOOOOOOO!

Going by the thumbnail, Xeno Trunks is going to be primarily based on Dragon Ball Heroes. Aside from the fact that Xenoverse!Trunks is either called Time Patroller Trunks or just Trunks, he never showed any signs of getting a new transformation (even Super Saiyan Rage is saved for the Trunks of the Goku Black Saga)

0:34-0:45 ... *aye fair enough* sorry for the hype being killed for you -which I may have taken apart of, again sorry- really enjoyed this episode more than I thought, I was actually invested in the analysis more than usual this time around, especially with Apocalypse. Animation was short but sweet, but I couldn't understand was Apocalypse was saying half of the time, but I hear him better now after a few rewatches. Plus Black Adam not finishing his SHAZAM at the end doesn't seem right to me, even without his lighting. The analysis made look like even without his lighting he would still go down swinging or try to hold the boot with his bare hands. But after that, this be my favorite ending for this season thus far. Music was a cheesy banger, even if the vibe doesn't fit either of them. A solid 8 or 9/10 for me.

This episode felt like a massive stomp. Not only with stats. But in the animation. I didn't really like how little it seemed they let Black Adam be anything more then just "lightning smash" with using abilities. Apocolypse didn't have to try it felt and still got more creativr thrn blasts and punches. The yellow lantern thing was the only thing that felt "unique" to this all powerful, morally grey god the whole fight. I don't know the bit. I don't really think i wanna know it. But this fight dripped with potential. And if it was as big a stomp as it looked. Why even make it? Vegeta vs Thor was equally short. But the whole fight didn't feel "stomp" just sort of "First Major Hit won" this. This was just Black Adam Flailing and Apocolypse toying with him until he basically got bored. I genuinrly think this is a weaker fight then Predetor vs Boba Fett with a less interesting and more vague analysis and i'd probably say this was the weakest episode in the season. Not terrible but very much felt more of obligation from fans over something they liked making given the "bit" discussion

Yeah, the waiting period was a double-edged sword. The enthusiasm was infectious, and I was content just being happy that everyone else was happy, but it honestly was a bit annoying that it basically became a repeat of Minions: The Rise of Gru. That little jab at Gaara vs Toph is more annoying to me because it seems like they still think they're right when they didn't factor in how much faster Gaara is and was than her

For me, I thought this episode was just meh. Don't remember much of the analysis besides Boomstick being a little annoying, the fight seemed meh to me and the music just seemed generic as well, much like you I couldn't understand Apocalypse and found myself annoyed at Black Adam's "Oh shit" thing because from what they explained about him, he wouldn't give up no matter what but here he is, giving up and letting himself get stomped. Also agree with you that the ending was silly because of that face. Honestly if I had time, I could go more in detail of why the fight just didn't work for me, from the music to the voices to the action and ending as a lot of Death Battle episodes did specific things this episode tried to do better. Also while I found the camera having tape on it at the end amusing, I can't really buy that this fight is the thing that broke their camera. So Goku and Superman causing the Earth to implode didn't, Chuck Norris and Segata causing a black hole didn't, Thanos and Darksied throwing around the solar system didn't, Hulk and Broly head butting and warping reality didn't..no, a stomp to the face in a battle that merely cracked the moon is what broke their camera. Okay..sure, that makes sense. All in all, nothing about this episode excited me, felt like a really generic Marvel vs DC fight. Maybe if I had more love for either character it'd be more exciting but it just seemed like another...cape shit? And its followed by another predictable battle that is a stomp so after an interesting matchup we get the millionth Marvel vs DC, then another meh stomp.

Thought the episode was fine. The fight felt REALLY short. Like if you blink you've missed a whole interaction. Good death though.

Before I start watching this (because my opinions are usually influenced when people point out flaws) I want to say I loved the animation...at first, it felt far too short and they might as well have not used the fear ring as black Adam does a total of one thing with it. And the death made no sense, Adam had NO REASON to stop saying Shazam so they removed context for the sake of comedy, the stomping scene felt like a waste of animation and the music didn't fit. Furthermore the fight was only 2 minutes long, but it felt SO much shorter. it starts and then ends, no in between, The best part of the whole fight was Adams final Shazam against giant apocalypse. Otherwise I liked the episode. Edit: meh, nothing changed. Edit 2: people in the comments say apocalypse absorbed the living lightning hence why black Adam used that HORRIBLE line, okay compelling argument, but that was horribly conveyed! There was NOTHING showing that happened, let me give an example, Ganon lost the tri-force during his fight with dracula and got a scene visually stating "Oh shit, it's gone, he can't use it" and there wasn't any dumb line for him reacting to it. It was just fear realizing he was fucked, and then killed. That's how they should have done this scene.
