A curious black bear climbs a rub tree to check out a remote camera trap.
Earlier this summer we worked with photographer Rob G. Green and cinematographer Jon Johnston to help them with Rob's Nat Geo documentary about bears. They're hoping to capture footage that helps tell the story of all that bears (mainly grizzlies) encounter while they're out of hibernation and living amongst the human population. This includes everything from natural behaviors like using bear rub trees to less natural behaviors like rummaging through human trash that's not secured.
We're grateful to have played a part in this project and can't wait to see the finished documentary!
