Black Bear Encounter - my most intense bear encounter to date. Wildlife Photographer

Mother bears have a well deserved reputation for being very protective of their cubs but in all my experience with bears I have only ever encountered one mom that lived up to that. This would very soon be the second. Over the years I have had hundreds of bear encounters with mostly peaceful interactions or brief ones where they quickly run off , but this mother bear was having none of that and wanted me out of her territory. Watch along as I document this very intense encounter and I give insight into what I did wrong and how to avoid a similar experience in the future. Thanks Christina, I would say exciting more than terrifying but it was definitely a different experience than all of my other bear encounters
