These are very helpful and I don't think anybody would complain if they were longer.

These focused commentaries are great. We get to see a concept in action and hear you breakdown the thought process behind it. Keep these coming. Also, being a "long boy" myself, this passing technique is much appreciated! I pulled it off a few times last week. Very effective.

I love the commentating from both perspectives. "here's what i'm thinking". AND "here's what he should be doing." Awesome stuff as always Dom!

I love these man these are perfect. I’m a blue belt trying to learn setups and these are by far the best I can find. Thank you for all your help .

Good stuff. I'm with others that say, make these longer. By all means, continue with the details. Thank you, sir.

Count me as +1 on the longer videos… this was awesome
@mephistosteiner8064 Жыл бұрын
No no no! Let them run long! This is great, explaining every move, even giving a short overview of the pass you're doing is amazing. Most vids just say it's a backstep pass and gloss over it. Please more and longer!

Awesome breakdown Dom. Cheers mate. Helped me greatly 🙏

Awesome breakdown, really useful to understand your thoughts during the roll. Please do more and longer ones!!

Good stuff as per usual, Dom. I'm a big fan of the cross grip pass as well. One variation I employ is to obtain the pant grip with my right hand and then catch their right sleeve with my left hand when they frame. From there, I do a side step and yank my grips to the ceiling and put my right knee past their hips to a knee-on-belly pin. Obviously, being large and strong helps with this variation.

I am not a tall guy but I do love my cross grip pass.
@justnjitsu Жыл бұрын
Loved it - I'm tall and have been using this pass for a few years. I like the detail about changing the plane of your chest after you get past the legs to north /south. Looking forward to working that this week

Awesome... Hi Dom, is it possible that you can put up more such rolling videos more often? Many thanks!

I will soon, I can't roll at the moment cause of a nagging injury 🥲
@cccowboy2576 Жыл бұрын
@@DubiousDom I see... Please be very cautious in Judo sparring and all kinds of standing grappling sparrings as they tend to lead to frequent injuries as compared to Jiujistu ground rollings...

I have my Blackbelt in Judo and would like to join a BJJ gym should I mention it to the instructors or not say anything because I don’t want to make it seem like I’m challenging them. I would love to add BJJ into my grappling skills.
