Animation schedules and deadlines factor in as well. Shows with an average budget can have S tier animation as well like OPM. What counts is talent of the animators as well as time. Animators that get pressurized due to deadline constraints make poor animation.

DopeyG yes. It would be nice but the best shounen? Nah. Of course everybody have their own opinion. My Top 5 favourites are all shounen: Dragonball, One Piece, Naruto, Hunter x Hunter and Jojo's bizarre adventure. Black Clover is my 7th favourite. Maybe I would put it in my top 5. I am also watching Bleach and Gintama at the moment and they are also very good.

The plot is fresh and new. Most of the villains planned to destroy the world whatsoever. But Licht simply want to revive his dead friends. Villains like akatsuki never make it alive after fighting hero. However, Licht managed escape death time after time after time. That's why I love black clover.

yea no their animation is terrible is because one Studio pierrot gives the top notch budget and animators for boruto, 2 black clover was always struggling cause they were short staffed and forced to make a episode a week and also black clover was supposed to be only 13 episodes and seasonal, but they changed it to 52 then changed it again to weekly. If they had taken at least year off each 52 episodes you watch that animation and the ops would look exactly the same.
