I don't know exactly what pushed me to start watching black clover, but you guys were definitely a reason! Kept checking your channel and seeing BC thumbnails so maybe that pushed me over the edge... and I'm so glad I did. Like who gives a shit about BC not having 10/10 animation most of the time? Most shows don't, so... Everything else about the show is sooo good. Very recently I passed you guys (not by much yet) and I'm more excited than ever to keep watching and watching your guys's reaction.

The problem with Yuno is we don't get to see his struggles. When we do get focus on him its mostly after he's gone up a level so it seems he just jumped to it. Best time for Yuno was the Dungeon Arc and Capital Invasion as we saw if fail against Mars and saw that despite his power, most of the Golden Dawn views him as dirt.

Yuno only won because of a technicality if Ril destroying his own crystal, even going all out with his new power up, he couldn't bring Ril to fight seriously, this goes to show how powerful the captains are more than anything

What about tha god “mister steal your girl” himself Julius even just with the info shown so far his by far the strongest even if he had never fought in the show just the fact that he is the wizard king directly implies he’s stronger than any Captain including Yami and rill. Rill who in this episode just showed that him not even going all out could hold his own against a full powered yuno who has one of the spirits in his side using it in a more powerful way than why other spirit user we’ve seen. Furthermore rill is probably on the same level as sleep girl probably more so cause his versatility but that’s still number 5-6 of the captains and my boy Julius the slump god is stronger than all of them By a shitload

@@jakedisarufino3311 don’t get your point since I was talking about physical strength (as in who can lift the largest dumbbell) but if u read manga, julius currently ain’t shit, Noelle asta yuno and captains scale higher than him after training since they all facing dark disciples who scale above zagred the word soul devil , and Dorothy is arguably the second strongest captain besides yami given her dream worlds, also rill is the weakest captain besides Kaiser (maybe, they go back and forth for last place)

Man, the Yuno hate is crazy. You gotta remember Yuno went through a lot of the training that Asta went through. He appears perfect but he works for his achievements too. He puts on a front to act like nothing bothers him. A lot of his development took place when he was a child. Remember episode 2 when they showed his backstory and how he was a cry baby. He had a big moment and was inspired by Asta to become a stronger willed person. With Yuno you have to always look beyond his tough exterior and what he really intends. Like when he talks trash to Asta. Its not to really put Asta down, its to motivate him. You can easily tell that's the case by how he reacts whenever anyone else tries to down talk Asta. Yuno is a lot how Bakugo is in MHA. You have to look past the tough exterior. Maybe they will just spell it out for us at some point the way MHA unnecessarily did for Bakugo. BTW this isn't a hate post, I love yall content. Just thought I would start a discussion, not an argument.

Even if we don't see Yuno training he keeps doing it off-screen, just like in the second episode. There is even a LN were they describe how Yuno got the "Sprite dive" Also, Yuno is nowhere near Rill's power. He only won because Rill was carring his own cristal.

Rill is absolutely OP. Yuno was struggling to keep up and Rill was still having a good old time. Honestly, I think the only reason the crystal broke is because Yuno's 4th leaf blesses him with good luck. This point becomes a big deal later. Keep your eyes on Rill. He's uh... full of surprises.

Yuno is the main character of any other anime than this one. He is a prodigy with the 4 leaf clover grimoire. Naruto for example was an orphan people disliked because he had the fox spirit but his father was the strongest ninja and prodigy himself which made naruto super strong. Asta isn’t strong, has no magic and loses (even when he wins) that’s the difference with this show

He nullifies magic through his physical ability predominantly which can be beaten by reinforcement magic and he can not longer dodge or nullify the attacks. When he is using the anti magic ability and moves quicker he is still not on the same level as someone who doesn’t rely solely on the power of their magic but are smarter fighters

Yuno is like a robot, he just stands there and when it is time to fight he shows off an absurd amount of power. Other than that what does he do? Nothing at all. I point out that it is ironic because one of the themes of this episode is an indication to the nobles and royals that a commoner can compete against a Captain-level noble. This is the exact theme that the reactors consistently advocate. Again, I can empathize with disinterest because it's true that Yuno has relatively less screentime compared to Asta, but several of the reactors' comments about Yuno were wholly inaccurate in the face of the story so far. They allege that Yuno doesn't have character depth and doesn't face adversity, but they seem to ignore or forget much of Yuno's backstory and snippets we see of him as a knight - both of which provide the character depth and adversity that the reactors complain are lacking.

Guys let's be real, there's a reason people kinda don't like Yuno being overpowered and winning all the time, he's basically a worse written Sasuke, he's a better person than Sasuke, absolutely, but he doesn't have a lot of perspective on him to back him up as a good written character, you guys can say he train hard and all that stuff as much as you want, but we as an audience aren't shown any of that, every time Yuno appears on screen is just to win and appear to be perfect, c'mon no one can complain if people aren't just too drawn to him as a character.

Yuno's writing is simple and sutile. He's a good person with great talent, that gains an objective and the determination to chase after it from his admiration for Asta, Yuno exceeds because he's both talented and hard-working, but he's not perfect, in this instance he only won for a technicality, and him not struggling a whole lot is a build up for a later moment, were he faces absolute deafeat, and it devastates him
