Theses chapters confirmed that all battles in judgement day play out simultaneously to each other only split seconds apart. So while the Black bulls just arrived in the capital, everyone is now going into support positions for the magic knights. Just moments after Magna and Luck were done. Everything on the battlefield is happening in slow motion to us readers I’m really satisfied that Mereoleona was done justice. She’s just one of Tabatas best characters.

I can't imagine being a Fuegoleon fan these days. Bro arrived at the battlefield and immediately got flexed on by Mereoleona. She was able to create an Ultimate Magic spell while he's stuck spamming Salamander's Breath. Even Fana had at least one more Fire Spirit spell with Salamander's Claw. This chapter also made her look more like a leader to Fuegoleons own squad even though he's been their leader for longer. Mereoleona didn't even want to be their leader at first and she still showed him up on that. Chapter 371 was alright, but it's just hard seeing Fuegoleon at the state he's in now. Tabata has been handing out power ups and he couldn't even bother to give Fuegoleon anything new. For over 2 years he's been partners with Salamander and he barely advanced with his use of Fire Spirit Magic. No Spirit Dive, no partial Spirit Dive, not even any new Fire Spirit spells. Like I said before, he keeps spamming Salamander's Breath. Why couldn't he at least get any new spells. Tabata can organize events in the story that would lead to characters getting new power ups and yet does practically nothing for Fuegoleon. What a waste. Might as well be as non existent as Leopold. Mereoleona is the only one of the 3 siblings that actually matter.

Unfortunately, it seems that Tabata’s hit the ol’ mangaka burnout. He’s had to move the series to the quarterly Jump Giga which means we only get a chapter every 3-4 months. I’d say it’s going to wrap up somewhat relatively soon.

I’d disagree with magnas chain not working on damnotio, it only worked on the triad member because he allowed Magna to hit him head on, so while the chain death match spell is awesome it’s still just a normal spell that means nothing if it doesn’t hit its opponent, damnatio straight up blocked it head on before it hit him.
