I'm calling it now Sumire will have a major focus in the next arc. In Shippuden after Kazekage Rescue Arc we got introduced to Sai who is connected to Danzo's Foundation "The Root" which Sumire also is. At the start of that arc Sakura and Naruto got beef with Sai because of Sasuke. Now we're getting Sarada(the new Sakura who idolizes Naruto) and Sumire (the one who has ties with "The Root" like Sai) having a beef cuz of Boruto. Sarada and Sumire rivalry over Boruto parallels Sakura and Ino over Sasuke. The beef will probably be settled having someone move on to a new male lead like they did with Sai settling the Ino/Sakura beef over Sasuke. This crush rivalry is so much of an improvement from '6yrs old Sakura and Ino friendship over cuz you have a crush on my crush'😭😭🥴 I love how they are tying Ino/Sakura rivalry over Sasuke with Sakura and Naruto beef with Sai over Sasuke thru Sarada, Sumire, and Boruto like😲😮 Kishi really loves his parallels W KISHIMOTO W IKEMOTO Anyways the best part in this chapter is Eida savoring their DRAMA and in her head: OMG!!!
