The main character, Asta, doesn't get taller, he gets w i d e r. DarkBlackKnight101 today i think the one that has the most award in crunchyroll is jujutsu kaisen - anime of the year -best antagonist(sakuna) -best opening (kaikai kitan) Yes the op is great the song is great same as the animation but visually its not that interesting its just plain anime... Unlike black clover the op is soo soo soo great that you’ll enjoy the visuals... the background, the color contrast, the transitions .... for me black catcher(black clover op 10) the black and white theme is so dupe the rain is very well animated and the red eye color of asta and nero stands out in the black and white amd also the meaning of the opening is so poetic.... its all dark and eerie and at the end the color is back and hope is coming...black catcher is far better than kaikai kitan.( jujutsu kaisen op1) But wasn’t even nominated as one of the best openings idk why but one thing for me is sure it’s because its a bit underrated and jujutsu kaisen is so popular..

@@remains10 Perriot doesn't make an episode a week. An episode comes out every week. Each episode is in production for months and many get outsourced which is why quality fluctuates. But the in-house episodes and the ones where they manage to get good staff with the god awful schedule always look good.

In that time we still got a good amount of well animated episodes but it was inconcistent. It became better in the reincarnation arc(there were only a few instances of actual bad animation) and after that Arc the animation became good.

One thing; towards what you said about not even seeing a main enemy yet. One thing that I believe black clover has done really well, is having layered enemies. They aren't always simply the MC kicking their ass and that's it. The main antagonists have so many layers, motivations, desires dreams and Hope's. And these openings can serve to give you a glimpse of what drives them, it gives you a peek into their characters, motivations, past, etc

Jujustu Kaisen is seasonal and Black Clover is weekly so the animation will be very different since Black Clover isn't given much time as opposed to to Jujustu Kaisen but you might be suprised to hear there's lots of episodes that some of the Black Clover animators worked on Jujustu Kaisen even with a few of the recent episodes. It has some fillers but most are canon supervised by the creator and it's not much tbh and no filler characters appear in the openings because of that.

he does calm tf down after 15, hell even one of the characters comments on it in episode 5/6 (how his height isn't proportional to his volume), and actually, I do think his screaming had a purpose which is kinda spoiler-y so I put it down below (there are no major anime spoilers, just a character study which is honestly just my observation) I mean from my understanding of the character, he is abnormal, born without magic in a world where magic is everything, so he has to scream about his dreams because if he doesn't, he is afraid he would give up. BC's world is pretty cruel, from powerful to weak, from blessed to cursed, from villains to heroes they all had very harsh past because the world they live in is very discriminatory and cruel, the MC is the only one who doesn't bow down to the cynical view of others and he inspires others to do the same (His rival/friend, a girl from royalty, along with his squad) but even when he is filled with self-doubt he doesn't have someone believing in him like he is to others, so he screams out this stuff which sounds garbage to other people, but helps him with block out the negative opinions of them.

Black clover is very good, the animation problem is, the studio, Pierrot, don't gave as much support the series needed, there's even some episodes were the animation is really good, that the Director himself helped animating, he's an very skilled animator, and know some tallented animators as well, the series on an general has some okay animation, but there's also several moments were the animation is incredible.

I think you should watch it, since I think its story is amazing and brilliantly thought out. It is just pure shonen madness with some of the most memorable characters which you might not know when you end up loving. I started this in Quarantine and it was one of the best decisions, it is very binge-able so if you are planning, I do recommend doing 2-3 per video but then again it is your choice. The animation sometimes gets a little rough (not enough to pull you out of the story) just before the really well-animated hype battles/fights, it is a weekly shonen so I don't think comparing it to seasonal ones is fair. Plus the studio that did it spends most of its fundings on Boruto, but since the team loves it so much they continue to get new episodes out on time. It also surprisingly has very few fillers (like probably 2--3 in 100) not counting the anime canon arc which wasn't in the manga but is made with the guidance of the mangaka. I honestly can't recommend it enough, because it is one of the few series that just keeps improving in all aspects as it goes on (despite the small fall in the animation quality in middle)

SO Black Clover is honestly a great anime, because the series is weekly rather than seasonal it suffers from production issues early on but when the staff has some time they can deliver some really nice animation, also no Black Clover does not have any non canon filler its pretty much all canon content but because of that the anime is unfortunately ending this year with episode 170, the anime has gotten too close to the manga so they have to end production but i really do recommend Black Clover its a fun series with an interesting story and great characters

i just noticed after years, that black clover openings tell so much of the arcs... but at the same time, it's no spoiler... watching it again i began to notice the several references to what's happening on the arc, and what will be happening in the future... idn't if they were being too cryptic, or if i'm just dumb for realizing it so many years 🤣🤣

My favorite opening are 1,9,12 and 13 I'm sure that there are more but there are the one that stands out to me. The anime is ending soon so in march but they have an announcement right after meaning they either are ending it for real, go seasonal, or make a movie. For someone who has been watching black clover greatness from the beginning this is very sad (if they are really ending it) but happy at the same time meaning the animation is very good but might get even better. The manga is currently still going so I don't know why it's ending when it's just getting so good in the current arc. As you said this is similar to naruto but how big it is I wouldn't miss on the story because it's unique but half generic because if you actually sit down and try watching it you might like it like jujutsu kaisen. This show isn't for anyone so I understand if you stop mid way, there is a lot of filler but not naruto/one piece fillers. So then one other thing is that jujutsu kaisen is bleach for sure and mha is one piece.

WHAT lol...MHA is One piece😂🤦🏽‍♂️.... wtf kinda comparison is that. MHA is nothing like one piece. If anything MHA is like Naruto. Kohei, the creator of MHA is legit a Naruto fanboy when he was a kid, and still is to this day. Thats how he got inspiration to make manga and make MHA the way it is today. Even tho MHA isn't really like Naruto, it def has some Naruto features!

@@alexcleveland743 sure but I can't get into my hero like jjk and black clover how I was instantly hooked onto naruto when I was a kid. Sure that it got inspired by naruto but my hero has a lot of flaws like one piece. The character development fine and all, the pacing is seasonal, but the character design and the lack of how I can't feel anything until probably the war arc soooo.... I got into one piece until dressrosa so that's saying much. But that's my take on the comparison if you feel offended I'm sorry...

I was just confused on what u were trying to say. I agree wit u tho on how MHA took a lil more time to get into compared to JJK. And yes, MHA does have some flaws, but thats for a lot of shonen anime. Tho I don't really see any flaws in JJK yet, which is crazy and dope.

@@HonoredOne4Ever They're def finishing up the 1st season of JJK; they have tbh. Now, if u mean hopefully they wont drop JJK on S2... they wont. They got something extremely special wit JJK. It wouldn't make any sense if MAPPA dropped it. Plus I don't remember MAPPA ever doing a long lengthy anime series. JJK is gonna be long like MHA so they got JJK on lockdown.

My fave Black Clover openings are 3, 4, 10, 11, 12 and 13 And yes, opening 13 is a J-Pop Idol song and also 11. Both are by the same J-Pop idol artist, Snow Man.

@@aijel1028 Makusa is an anagram of Sakuma and Sakuma talked about this quite a few times. In the manga he makes 8 Snow Man, counting Makusa that's 9, the same amount as the members in Snow Man.
