I'm gonna level with you guys here: everyone is going to Austin today. Demo Disk was delivered to us a little late in the afternoon. I'm headed out of town for a wedding. So this description doesn't have anything to do, at all, with the content of the video. Because I just need to write some stuff and get it up online so I can go toast the bride and groom. For anyone rewatching demo disk like me, I used to no life mechwarrior 4. It was made to be played with both keyboard and joystick, and since it had to map the buttons for torso pitch and turn to a controller that was probably made way after it came out, it probably mapped them to some ungodly thing like R3 or X or something. But holy shit was it an amazing game for its time. Also the cloud they release was them using coolant, a HUGE part of the game was balancing heat generation. Also when you powered down, you didn't show up on scans, so you could hide behind a mountain or building and ambush someone.
