Lmao I love when bands b doing this shit. One of my fave artists Alex G, randomally started playing “what’s my age again” in the middle of one his songs and then cut back, transitioned so well. He also did that with “crazy train” during his song “horse” and he played the song “California” by “Phantom Planet” and had a fan come up and sing it shit was so fun. Plus playing like 7 songs for his encore it was like a two hour long show.

The vocalist normally uses a singing style called “spoken word” for their own songs, which doesn’t require a lot of voice talent. And in everyone’s opinion, it fits perfectly with the band’s sound.
