You did a great job. Most of these online teachers try to impress with all sorts of embellishments, but you stuck to the song and how to best get it into our hands. I'm also glad you didn't just throw the note names at us without the fingering, because you see that a lot too. This is the best "how-to" I have seen, and I've seen tons. Seriously man, great job. My electric is broken, so doing this on an acoustic was a bitch, but you let me see what was possible if I stick to the solid notes and maybe improvise some of the bending for just pull offs and hammer ons. I have my own version that I made by ear, so some of the stuff you are doing I just don't get how my fingers can work like that, but you made it easy enough for me to get the concept. Ive been using a G chord with my pinky and ring finger on the 3rd fret(the one used in like, every song), and then I just walk my first finger down the top string from there, from 3 to 1 to open(which is just an E). I use the 4th string to do pull offs, 3,2 open, then pinky on 3rd fret of the 6th string. (kind of like the part in "what you give" by Tesla, which is a very similar song and probably an inspiration for this one, at least at the verse) Anywho, amazing work. Like, really, really great job. You are giving people what they want without trying to impress them with how much better you are. Funny, how most other "teachers" are more "displayers" but you actually are a teacher.

Thanks, glad I could help. I don't claim to play any of these songs I teach on here exactly how the artist plays them. I just play them how I'm hearing it, so it could be wrong in some parts. I might start doing song lessons again one of these days if I have the time and if I can make ad money from it.
