There's probably no Stones tune better suited to the Black Crowes. This has always been one of my favorite songs off Exile. Surprised it's not more well known, or at lease spoken of in the same breath as the great Tumbling Dice or Sweet Virginia.

Well said folks - we're on the same page. Torn and Frayed, Loving Cup and Let it Loose are my personal highlights from Exile. Interestingly Magpie Salute covers Let it Loose very nicely (some good versions on KZbin). True, real, organic music never, ever goes out of style.

Phish’s version from 6/7/12 is better but the Crowes play Oh Sweet Nuthin’ better than Phish. I met Chris a few times backstage at New Earth Mud shows on the East Coast in (I believe 2003) when they were opening for the Mule and Chris was with Kate Hudson. I thought he was a huge prick but I’m a huge prick, too so it def could have been me. He has great taste in music and a sick vinyl collection!!
