I had a similar experience when I was in Germany last year. Walked into a high end restaurant wearing a jeans and hoodie, and most people there were in suits and gowns and stuff. They treated me like crrap .. but I didn't care. Had some good food and wine and left a good tip despite their nasty treatment.

I wasn’t racially profiled, but I was once fatshamed in a store. I wasn’t even fat, I had a normal/average weight. My friend was super thin and tried on a lot of clothes, she didn’t buy anything tho. I looked at a dress that I liked and an old woman said to me (she owned the store) you’ve got to have the figure for that. Wow. I felt so bad. So uncomfortable.. idk.. my friend didn’t hear it or didn’t care for it.. but I never set foot in that store again
