lovely garden, wish there was a way to digitally send the scent too, only thing missing is the smell of fresh cut grass. I watched this as an asmr to relax 🤣 reminded me the good old days. Thank you captain!

Thank you, so glad to hear you loved my garden! Yeah that cut grass smell and those flowers always are nice in the summer time. The heat on the other hand here is soooo hot 😂 Glad you watched it to relax 😂 Most people hate yard work, but I love it and always loved landscaping my own yard, it's more rewarding for me. Glad to hear it reminded you of the good old days. You're very welcome! Thank you for taking the time to watch it and leaving me a comment to let me know, really appreciate it!

I’m strongly considering the self propelled version of this mower with the same 140cc powermore engine next spring to purchase off Amazon or at Walmart
@scallywagcaptainjacksparrow Жыл бұрын
I almost got the self-propelled one myself, but after years of having one I decided to go with this one. It's been a really great mower for me and always starts right up. I'm sure if you decided to get the self-propelled one, you would like it. I never had any issues with mine. Thanks for watching!

does BLACK+DECKER 21-Inch 3-in-1 Gas Powered Push Lawn Mower with 140cc OHV Engine, Black and Orange comes assembled like this once received in the box or you have to put it all together
@scallywagcaptainjacksparrow2 жыл бұрын
Everything is assembled like the one I show here. The only thing you have to do is put the bolts on the handle bars of the mower. I still have mine the one I show here and it still mows great and starts right up on the first try. Hope this helps you! Thanks for watching my video!

Do you know where there is a video for how to change the oil?
@scallywagcaptainjacksparrow2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately there is not a video for this mower that I did the review on. I can tell you how to change the oil if this is the exact one you have. There is right below where I fill the oil at 0:37 there is the drain plug located right under there, a bolt. You have to use a wrench to loosen it. The mower has a small hole located in the front underneath where the engine is. That is where all the oil will drain out. You can put the mower up on something like blocks or 4 paint cans and make sure you have something underneath the mower where that hole is that the oil can drain into. Hope this helps you! Thanks for watching my video!

The mower's platform, wheels, and bail cable are actually manufactured by MTD and the mounted engine is only a Powerworks 140cc. The whole machine is designed as Black and Decker because of only the orange and black paint scheme and logo. Since Black and Decker basically manufactures electric-powered tools, they just borrowed MTD manufactured accessories to only use their orange and black paint scheme and logo to badge them as Black and Decker in order to make more money. It's all about competition!

Yeah when purchasing I realized that Black & Decker did only make electric power tools and thought that is what they might have done. It really is all about competition and money these days unfortunately. I just chose this one because I was on Amazon that day and never bought a mower without seeing it first in a store. My last mower was self-propelled and I needed a new one because it couldn't be fixed anymore. I didn't want a self-propelled anymore so chose this one and never had any issues with it at all and always starts right up. I like the way it cut my grass too and only put what products I really like and work on my channel. So interesting these companies do this always though. I appreciate your feedback and taking time to write me and watch my video!

@@scallywagcaptainjacksparrow thanks for your response! Although, I noticed the similarities of specifications on the electric power tools, such as Greenworks, Kobalt, Snapper, Powersmart, or Stihl. Since Greenworks is the main electric power tool builder, other companies like Stihl, Snapper or Powersmart borrowed the Greenworks manufactured accessories of using their own paint schemes and logos to also badge them of being their own equipment. Greenworks manufactured accessories can also be interchangeable with other related brands of equipment.

OK, one thing you did not indicate in your set up was the fact that a boxed mower has the push handle buried into the deck, stabilizing the blades. This causes you not to be able to pull the cord to start the mower in the first place. A vet tech who is also the person who comes to my house to cut my dogs. Nails is the one that showed me what was wrong with my mower. It wouldn’t start, the pull cord wouldn’t pull. I was very unhappy and distressed that my mower wouldn’t start and it was brand new. Even after I had followed the directions on this video. You need to indicate this issue.

When making my KZbin reviews I try my best to incorporate everything I can. Some videos don't show everything in them. When I made this a year ago I was under the assumption that everyone would probably know that mowers that come in boxes, the handles would have to be extended out from there. My videos are intended to help people find the things that I like and have worked for me. The only thing I wished you would of just left me a comment to ask why it wouldn't start and I would of helped you the best way possible, as I always answer my comments on my KZbin channel. I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy or distressed about it. To say I need to indicate that issue, wasn't right because I just showed what I could and wanted at the time. I spend a great deal of time editing and trying to make these for everyone. I hope the mower works okay now for you and you're happy with your purchase.
